"I have been taking my Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix to Doggie Stylz for grooming services for the past 6 months, and up until yesterday, I had no issues with their work. However, my recent experience left me greatly disappointed. I brought my dog in for the Tidy up and Furminator service and even tipped the groomer before my dog came out, based on my past positive experiences. But upon examining my dog, I noticed several glaring issues. His head and eyes were not clean, his nails seemed to be cut but not filed down, and there was long hair sticking out between the digits on his paw. Additionally, his hair was frizzy, course and flying everywhere, making him look worse than when I initially dropped him off. I immediately called the establishment to voice my concerns, and to their credit, the owner offered to either refund my money or redo the grooming service the same day. I opted for the latter and my dog was groomed well the second time. However, there was no explanation or concession given for the poor grooming quality. This lack of accountability left me feeling like they did not care about maintaining my business. It is disheartening to think that if I hadn’t examined my dog, they would have attempted to get away with not properly grooming my pet and providing the service that I paid for. The Tidy up and Furminator service for my 13 lb. dog normally cost $66 without tip. In October, they had a raffle that granted me a 10% discount on a future service, bringing my total to $69 with a $10 tip this time. Despite the discount, I am extremely disappointed with the overall experience. I no longer feel confident that Doggie Stylz is checking the quality of their groomers’ work or ensuring patrons receive what they paid for. I hope that Doggie Stylz takes this feedback constructively and makes the necessary improvements to deliver consistent and satisfactory grooming services to their customers."
