The Chop Shop

"Had to throw out the kielbasa and chicken I bought. First and foremost, I expect quality meats coming from a butcher shop. The kielbasa smelled so bad I thought it was rotten. Tried cooking it and the stench was so strong I couldn't eat the meal I prepared and threw it out. Not sure when chicken can be pulled apart raw! No question it was previously frozen and below quality chicken. I have bought better chicken at Costco than this garbage! My son couldn't even chew it in some places and that was after I had cleaned it up before grilling. Definitely the worst butcher shop I've been to and a waste of almost $30 of food. Everything went to the garbage. Beware, you're better off going to Aldi or save money and get the same quality at Walmart."

"28 years in Florida and I called there today as I said Iowa beef Snake River Farms so I called to ask if their beef is purchased from a farm, the guy answered sarcastically what do you mean, I said do you buy it from a farm it says on your site Snake River Farms, he answered very sarcastically I'm sure they buy it from somewhere. Needless to say I will not be going there if they're that rude on the phone I can imagine how they are in person. Your loss"

"Amazing selection of cuts, even some gourmet & homemade items, I wish I had taken pictures, I could easily spend a paycheck in here & when you see the steaks(wagyu) and gorgeous seafood selection you know why. There are also a lot of things things were surprisingly reasonable, the deli counter was fantastic too, I will definitely be back and add pictures next time. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this little shop."

"Visiting the area for the day, I stopped in to see about getting some Geirs lunch meats for a picnic with friends. The Geirs meat website said this was the closest to my local. Sadly all the Geirs meats here, were frozen. Boars head was the only deli meats they carry. Store was super clean and friendly. Lots of people all wearing masks and staying safe. Thanks anyways!!"
