"Wanted to try a new place, so we made a short trip to Sanford, and was delighted to have discovered Cattle Ranch. The steaks were great! Most of the diners while we were there were local regulars, and greeted by name by the staff, which is very positive in my book. I'm certain to be headed back to Cattle Ranch next time I'm looking for a good steak. If you haven't already, you owe it to yourself to try it too."

"I don’t eat steak but I love this place. I brought my steak lovers here and they each got ribeyes, huge and flavorful and a little fatty. I got grilled shrimp. Cheap beer. This place is not for the health conscious!"

"If you want to feel like you’ve taken a time machine back to the 1970s, this is the spot for you! Classic old school steakhouse that looks like somewhere out of an old movie. Service is very slow, but friendly, and the food is very good, but not great. I ordered the 32oz cowboy porterhouse, which had more fat than I would prefer, and it wasn’t the most tender piece of steak I’ve ever had, but it was nicely grilled and tasted good dunked in their house made creamy peppercorn dressing (which is one of the thickest most delicious salad dressings I’ve ever had!). The loaded cheese fries (called “buckskins”) were the other highlight, a huge pile of steak fries loaded with cheese and bacon, which I will definitely order again if I decide to return."
