"Far away from downtown Jax and hard to get to if you take a bus. They rarely answer the phone but will call you back, usually after 5pm and will leave a VM. Was looking for my missing Goldendoodle, they do require proof of ownership and found dog wasn't mine. Considered adopting as they have great looking pets/ breeds but this shelter seems to make things difficult and the location is not convenient for me. If you are closer than me or have a car, check them out and let me know how it goes!! Thanks!!!"

"Got our dog willie here, he is the sweetest thing in the whole world. He was extremely scared of everything when he was in the kennel but as soon as he got in our car he became the most sweet loving dog I've ever met and he's extremely excited to be with us. big thank you to the staff who were amazing in helping us find him."

"I went today to give up a dog that I been dealing with for 4 years that has happy tail, we tired everything from medication to having his tail removed so he couldn’t tear it up anymore. He is a good dog but can’t deal with this any more, this was our last resort getting rid of him or putting him down. I never tried to get rid of a animal before. They told me they were full and can’t take him. So I asked the lady do they have a list of dogs or can I take a look, she then told me that they are not going to let me rescue a dog since I’m trying to get rid of one. Maybe if they didn’t look down at people and judging them maybe they can get rid of more Animals."

"They are an absolutely wonderful group of people. Very organized and truly care for the babies they take in. Today I dropped of 4 beautiful kittens, unfortunately I was unable to catch the mother to have her spayed. They did however spay another feral for me today. A few weeks ago they came and picked up an injured feral cat that was hit by a car. She had to have her leg amputated and they also spayed her. Today I finally let her back outside. She ran like the wind. I am so greatful effort and care you give to these feral cats many many thanks ...."
