"Delicious food and excellent service. Was delighted to find ample outdoor seating that is well protected against rain and wind. We shared a great starter of tzatziki that was light, fresh and tasty. Then I had some perfectly done lamb chops and tasty lemon potatoes while my friend thoroughly enjoyed Seafood Giouvetsi. We both agreed that we’d like to return and would happily order those same dishes or try new ones. So big thumbs up on Eva!"
"A new restaurant will experience service hiccups as was the case when I dinned at Eva on a busy Saturday night. My salad arrived after my entree was tabled. Also, the restaurant is unduly loud, and the acoustics must be tweaked. The staff is excellent and the indoor/outdoor set up is pleasing to the eye. The food is terrific."
"Food was excellent. Best Restaurante by far in Coconut Grove. The Buccatini Pasta with Octopus and Lamp Shops were Increíble!! See pics"
"I'm a big fan of Ariete Hospitality Group and was very excited with the opening of Eva. On the first week that opened, I went there and made a reservation for a Saturday 8:30pm, inside. The restaurant is very beautiful with a mediterranean decor and open kitchen. When I arrived at the restaurant the hostess guided us to our table inside, but that night the temperature outside was nice and since outside was empty, I requested to be seated outside. Once we got to the table, it started to rain and I asked to go back to the original table that was still empty. Since I had my service dog with me, the hostess told me that I couldn't seat inside and once I told her it was a registered service dog, she told me that the restaurant had reservations and it was full. We got a covered table outside. The waiter service was great. We had most of the dishes and drinks that she suggested, but it didn't impress us. The appetizers options was very short and most of it was dips and Breads. We had the BAZLAMA ($14) that had labneh, urfa and candied walnuts, and the HALLOUMI ($18) that was a type of cheese with pouched guava, roasted red pepper relish, olive oil and mint. Both dishes were OK, but missing seasoning. My wife ordered two drinks the KASHMIR SOUR (16), that had gin, strega, honey, lemon and egg whites that she thought it was too sweet and the ME JOOLIE ($17) that was bourbon, medjool date, cardamon bitters and orange, that she really liked. For the main course she decided to go with the GROUPER ($25) that had lemon tahini, olive oil, spiced carrots that missed seasoning and I had the LAMB SHANK (38) with crispy chickpea salad, black garlic yogurt, balsamic-lamb jus, that was also missing flavor. For dessert, we decided to try in another time. I'm not sure if we set an high expectation, or if it was problems caused by the first week but we decided that we are going to wait a little bit and try it Eva once again. Maybe it was just not a good day, and since we love Ariete and Chug's we will definitely give another chance to Eva."
