"If I could leave zero stars I would. I can’t believe they can advertise this place like some retro beachside stay when it’s in fact a run down outdated shoddy tiny room with cracks in the ceiling and rusted finishes. The patio was completely flooded when we arrived. Only one of the lamps in the room actually worked. The price is absolute extortion. Yes, it is close to the beach. But it should be advertised as a small $50 hostel you can book if you want no comfort at all and just beach access. Whoever took the marketing photos for this place deserves every dollar they got because it’s the most false advertising to what you’ll actually receive. Never again."
"Bed was absolutely horrible. The one side of the bed felt as if an elephant had been sleeping on it consecutively for ten years straight as it was completely sunken in. Very outdated, seemed like nothing had been updated in 20+ years. Seemed relatively clean considering but definitely not worth the stay. The bed was so bad we actually didn’t even spend the night and decided to leave even with how tired we were. Booked through Expedia and was non refundable so I called the hotel directly the morning we were supposed to check out and was told to contact Expedia. Contacted Expedia and they said there was nothing they could do so I spent $140 on a room that we couldn’t even comfortably stay in. If you book here, make sure you don’t stay in room 24 cause the mattress is terribly worn out especially on the left side."
"I first visited this quaint little place 20 plus years ago. Never been disappointed. You walk outside of your spacious room with living area and kitchenette and your feet are only a few steps away from being in the beautiful white sand."
"I won't be going back. The person who checked me in was very nice, but that was the only good thing I have to say about this place. For around $200 per night I expected a room that looked and smelled clean - not a chemical smell that reminded me of insecticide. I didn't expect it to be fancy, but I did expect a basic well-kept room. The room looked grimy, the furnishings were beaten up and the mattress was shot and uncomfortable. Between that and the the fact that I didn't feel particularly safe in a room without a deadbolt, I hardly slept. The tub looked so grungy I skipped showering in the morning until I got to my next hotel. Fortunately, I was only at Miramar one night. Never again."
"We were pleased with almost everything. The only complaints we had from our visit involve a sofa that was uncomfortable & an out of order cola vending machine. Kitchen area was useful, room was immaculately clean, bed was perfect, and there were extra pillows in the closet."
