Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Plantation

"We were stunned our by experience at the Marriott Courtyard in Plantation, FL! Because of a very early flight from Ft. Lauderdale, we made a king room reservation on (Feb 15) at the Plantation Marriott Courtyard weeks in advance. It was paid in full for one night. Because of our anticipated late arrival, 9 pm, we called and let them know when we'd be there, they said great! Upon arrival, we were passively told that we don't in fact have a room. Because we made our reservation online, via Travelocity, ours was the first to be bumped becausethey overbooked. We were unapologetically told our room had been moved to another Courtyard 25 minutes further from the airport. A simple call earlier by this facility would have saved us over an hour of late night backtracking in traffic and a lot of inconvenience! Clearly they could careless as they attempted no such call. And, the hotel they sent us to, didn't have a king bed we'd requested! A total fail by Marriott on multiple fronts. They've lost a loyal customer!"

"Great location, nice quiet hotel, laid back and awesome staff. The staff is perfect, but why is management stubborn about not having microwaves in rooms, a standard in Florida? At least put one per floor in the ice machine are where there's a power outlet. They could literally buy some at brandsmart for 50 bucks and guests would be happier. Also, why no shower at the pool? It's a great hotel where little details that aren't taken care of kinda partly ruin the experience. We had a great time, but they should improve certain things."

"“Roderick Dudley” is the reason for the “10”! From the moment that I entered the lobby to check-in, I was greeted with an enthusiastic “hello!”. The 1st room that we checked-in was nice and clean. Unfortunately there was a “hiccup” in our room. Roderick immediately switched our room out. Our 3-day stay was great. We appreciate the staff for working to accommodate families during Christmas. The staff that cleaned the hotel was extremely nice and accommodating. Our check-out with Bryan Johnson was also seamless and amazing. Our family will definitely make this hotel a constant experience when visiting S. Florida. Thank you team!"

"the front is nice but everything else is terrible. housekeeping doesn't do their job i've asked multiple times to have my room cleaned and no one came. Everything i asked for they didn't have and my toilet was not working and the AC didn't work sometimes as well. the elevator needs some work on it as well..this entire hotel needs renovation super trash and the fitness center was not finished and i will not recommend this hotel."

"This is the best hotel in fort Lauderdale. I had multiple trips and stayed at multiple places but I always faced some issues either with rooms or service or outside noise but this hotel has best of rooms and service. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable with no outside disturbance. I am really thankful for the room service and making our stay so comfortable. This is definitely be my next staycation place whenever I'm visiting this city. Thank you so much."
