Hampton Inn & Suites Fort Myers Beach/Sanibel Gateway

"Conveniently located right off San Carlos Blvd. Within walking distance of Walmart, Walgreen, and several restaurants. Front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Our suite was one of the cleanest Hampton Inn Suites that we've stayed! And we've stayed at many!! We would have liked a larger bathroom/sink area. It was extremely small for a suite and no convenient place to put toiletries. But, the kitchen was nice with a full-size fridge, small stove top, and good eating area! All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again."

"First time staying off island while down here in 7years and if I had to pick, this would be it! Very friendly staff (shout out to One Arm Jesse!) Check in was smooth, even at night without any reservations. In the morning they have a breakfast spread and not every day is the same, so don't miss. The pool is heated. It's right on the tram, trolley and bus line. Right behind a Super Walmart. Super ideal for Holiday weekends."

"The friendly staff really made our stay special! They gave us great recommendations and were very accommodating when we needed a late checkout. Great location between the beach and downtown. The property was well maintained, updated rooms, good breakfast, and great pool area. Would definitely return!"

"The pool was heated and clean and the breakfast was wonderful. There was updating that needs done such as the laundry room was out of order along with one of the elevators and the other was 4 months overdue for inspection. Our bathroom tub had rust and no fan. The location was great."

"This hotel is in need of some updating......not up to Hilton standards in my opinion. Our room was fairly nice but the outside windows were foggy and difficult to see out of, i'm assuming from unrepaired hurricane damage.....? the carpet was ok but God knows how dirty (like most hotels) and bathroom did not have exhaust fan which is very weird and dissapointing; beds however were very comfortable with plenty of pillow options and blankets. One of the elevators in the building was out of service our entire stay which is unneceptable and lobby was fairly pleasent with good breakfast options and layout. What made our stay here pleasent was the staff !!! Front office staff was outstanding and always willing to help and assist and very friendly and welcoming, especially JESSE , he was superb and a great help to us, he was always willing to help and offer information, he should be promoted to Manager in our opinion. You cannot teach someone to be a people person, it comes naturally - Jesse is a natural.....he doesnt belong behind a front counter, he belongs in a leadership role."
