Magnolia Pointe, BW Signature Collection

"We picked Magnolia Pointe for several reasons. I checked hotels closer to the beach, which had similar rates but only one bed and in need of renovations. MP is located between the airport and the main part of Sarasota, including Siesta Key. There are several restaurants nearby. It is a newer hotel and very clean. We appreciated the little outdoor seating area with BBQ and fire pit. There is a beautiful pool with beach entry and bar. The downside is that it set across the parking lot. A hot breakfast is included from 6-9 a.m. and the rooms have microwaves and refrigerators. The bathroom had a large shower with great water pressure and glass doors and no bathtub."

"Rooms are super clean and comfortable. The building is well maintained and ran. There is tons of shopping and easy access to major roads. It was about a half hour from siesta key beach, which is just amazing. I am finding the complimentary breakfasts offered at this, and other establishments are becoming just barely edible, though. Boring at best. Unoriginal. They are offering breakfast, but it is nothing worth staying around for, and definitely nothing worth getting seconds of. Saves them money while still saying they offer it. Skip the breakfast and have a great stay!"

"We are extremely pleased with our room. It is very clean and looks nice. Denise was our receptionist and was very nice. I very much dislike the $50 deposit BW holds. They do not tell you when you book it in advance. It's a surprise at check-in. I've never had Fairfield, Marriott, or Hilton do this. It is DECEITFUL and RUDE, you don't have a choice. It seems like a Best Western thing. And then They tell you it may take five days to get back! I hope they automatically give it back. WE ARE IN THE BW COMPUTER SYSTEM, THEY SHOULD NOT DO THIS. WE ACTUALLY CLEAN OUR ROOM SOMEWHAT WHEN WE LEAVE"

"Great hotel. Super friendly staff and clean room. Breakfast was great as well. I booked again the next night I liked it so much. I would stay here again without hesitation."

"Great beds and pillows (for me). The breakfast area is cramped and louder due to the tile floors when compared to the best western next door. But overall the rooms are quieter and have a better layout."
