"After being a long time shopper at this specific hot topic I am so disappointed on this review. Recently it seems like if you're a emo teenager you arent welcomed to walk around and shop as they'll follow you around and make your shopping experience awkward. Awful staff who made fun of my four year old brother and my mother for shopping for cute clothes for herself (not their issue arent they supposed to HELP my mom buy it?) , tall man with glasses made fun of my brother who is FOUR YEARS OLD. I frequent malls but I've never had a employees be so rude, they constantly aren't doing their job and standing in front of items and blocking the way. I recently got scolded for picking up my package at hot topic on something my own mom also did and I can tell as a teenager when I have eyes on me for suspected theft. Not once have I walked out to have them think this but every employee in there just wants a reason to have a power trip. Just a awful hot topic with rude employees. Worst hot topic I've ever been just go to another mall."

"I’ve went to this Hot Topic for years and the experience is always great. The lighting is calming and the music choices are awesome. The store is well-organized and the employees are very accepting and helpful."

"So I was in your store today 10-15-2023 at around 5:30 pm I was looking for a ghost face mask and I was going to buy it, so I tried it on and wanted to see if it fit me, and some short heavyset girl with brown hair (employee), came up and started screaming at me about my germs being in the mask and told me that there were signs posted everywhere that you’re not allowed to put masks on so I took it off and there was no signs whatsoever and she was rude and obnoxious to me and I did not appreciate it. After several minutes, I continue to walk around the store she did come up to me and apologize and say that there were no signs up in the store, but just the fact of the way that she approached me and spoke to me it was very unprofessional and not very businesslike and if this is the way you train your associates to treat your customers that basically keep your operation in business I feel sorry for you. You need to better train your associates, and how they speak to the bread and butter, which is us the customer . I will not be going back and I hope everybody sees this. Very disappointing"

"This is a really cool store. It has all kinds of items from all kinds of styles and characters. It does seem to be cramped at times when there are a lot of customers. The employees are friendly and very helpful. They are not pushy either, meaning they leave you alone to shop!"

"I was there because of my daughter wanted to check it out and look around some. Some of the prices were a little high for me but as usual she got what she wanted. Think GOD what she got was worth the price. I don't have the money to throw away like the majority of the people that go in there. The two working the store were great, helpful and funny."
