"Blue Bayou is a historic gem in the heart of Tarpon Springs!! I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone traveling to the Tarpon Springs area! Not only is the house a beautiful historic craftsman style home with gorgeous original hardwood floors, it has been fully renovated with class, charm, and all the modern amenities you could ask for. Our room, #3, had a king size bed, lots of comfy pillows, plenty of natural light, and a huge steam shower that could easily fit 6 people. The room, even though one of 5 rooms on the second floor, was quiet and immaculate. The host, Melissa, has thought of everything from breakfast snacks, extra toiletries if you forgot yours, and 24-hour coffee/tea/cocoa, to bikes, kayaks, and a comprehensive information book on all the local attractions. It is within walking distance to a variety of shops, restaurants, and bars, and a quick drive over to the Tarpon Sponge Docks with even more shopping and restaurants. There is a gorgeous front porch to rock and drink your morning coffee or read a book, and a large back deck to grill out and enjoy the beautiful Florida sunshine. I would book ahead as it is very reasonably priced and books up quickly. We will definitely be back again next year! We are also considering this for our annual family reunion as it can accommodate large families with so many different rooms."

"We LOVED our stay at the Blue Bayou Inn! This was our first time staying in Tarpon Springs and we really didn’t know what to expect. The Inn itself was absolutely beautiful and it was fully stocked with everything we needed to feel comfortable during our stay. We are so grateful to our hostess, Melissa, who went out of her way to make sure we knew what to do and where to go to get the genuine Tarpon Springs experience. We were surprised at the amount of downtown night life and the fact that we could walk to so many great bars and restaurants were incredibly convenient. We are already planning our next trip back with friends!"

"My husband and I have made several trips to the West Coast of Florida and have stayed in many beautiful places with great accommodations. That being said, none of them have topped the Blue Bayou Inn in Tarpon Springs. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous and it definitely delivered on the extra amenities! Not only is it the perfect location, but our hostess, Melissa, was so thoughtful and provided us with absolutely everything we needed for our stay. Her recommendations for places to explore and amazing places to eat really made us feel as if we got to experience the authentic Tarpon Springs! We will definitely be visiting again soon!"

"This is our second stay with Blue Bayou and Ms. Mary Beth. The Inn feels like a home away from home! Ms. Mary Beth is the best hostess with the warmest personality! She makes you feel right at home and like you’ve made a new best friend! The rooms are updated, clean, cute, and functional! The shared spaces as large enough for groups to play games or watch tv or even have a BBQ! Breakfast by Ms. Mary Beth is delicious every morning! The proximity to downtown Tarpon and the Sponge docks is fantastic and so convenient! Thank you for making us feel at home every time! We will be back many times in the future!"
