Travelers Campground

"Odd rv park but nice. They filled our propane tank and we washed our huge dog at their wash station. The zoo is clean and all of the animals look healthy. I wish they would shorten or remove their speed bumps. They are so oversized, everything in our refrigerator fell out because of the severity of the bump. I think speed bumps are a thing of the past and need to be removed entirely. The last thing you need in Rv Park is a huge obstacle in the road to throw everything around. It is an old park and the sites are very narrow and stairstepped to be level. We stayed in February in a 40’ rv in a pull thru for $70. We would stay again."

"The park is beautiful. I loved hearing lil the critters at night. Our site was easy in and out. We were only there for an overnight so I didn’t think it was fair to give it 5 stars without having had more of an experience. I can’t speak for any of the amenities available as we didn’t use them. Would I stay there again? Absolutely! And I believe I would have the same or better experience with the staff and the park. The next time we come through this area, we will plan for a longer stay."

"This campground is perfect for a weekend getaway. Our six children thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the playground, all of the diverse animals and birds, and the campfire spaces. It’s conveniently located close to the highway, the spaces are perfect for pulling through and hooking right up. The staff was so helpful and friendly, too! We already booked another weekend at the end of the month!"

"What a gem of a campground! The Staff were the friendliest I’ve met during many years of camping! The spacious, paved pull through sites are perfect! We were fortunate enough to be camped close to the animals! I only wish that we had more time to stay, definitely recommend it! Thanks for making camping fun!"

"Travelers Campground is a treasure. Their site set up is different than most other RV parks in that the parking is in parallel rows. More importantly they have several different types of rescue animals on the property that adults and especially children can feed and sometimes touch. The children in our group spent hours with them. Be sure to stock up on carrots and Cheerios. The bath house was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Most sites are 30 & 50 amp full hookup. The campground is located close to I75 so it is convenient for a layover or for a short trip to a Gator game. This is an enjoyable place to stay and I will be visiting there again."
