"This place is absolutely beautiful with great amenities. Every staff member that we met were so nice and helpful. Our room was great but has many opportunities. I will not give The Grand anything less stars due to the room we stayed at was through a third party."

"The hotel is good but for the price I expect better rooms, the shower is small, the hot water is really not hot. The shuttle for the beach starts to late, the TV is small so little details."

"Visited for a conference and stayed in the Bahia at the Grand. Good was good at the conference dinners. Loved the walkable distance to Baytown Wharf. There are a few bars, good restaurant options, a dueling piano bar, a general store and more!"

"Rooms were beautiful and well kept. Upon check in we weren't told about amenities or how to use them. Just provided a map. Upon check in we requested a pack and play to purchase since they charge $20 per day and extra towels. We were told we would have one in a couple hours (we requested at 11am) by 6:30p, i called and the lady who answered at the front asked me who i spoke with because there were no notes; no apology provided but she said she would have one sent up. I asked for a time frame since my kids go to sleep by 7 and she said its by request so im in a queue. I reminded her we asked for it 7.5hrs before and she said she'll see what she can do. By 8pm, we got a pack and play sent but no towels, then at 9pm another pack and play was brought with the extra towels we requested. The next morning at 8am another pack and play was sent with towels, we politely explained what had happened. Third day at 8am we went to the front and we requested extra towels again and to have someone take the dirty towels. By 5pm. We called asking for the help with house keeping requests, which the front desk girl was short, rude and said theres a trash chute and they dont do house keeping. I explained we just needed fresh towels and to have the dirty ones taken away she said ok and literally didnt wait for my response, just hung up. So i put the dirty towels in a bag and left them outside our door. Service at this place is terrible but the rooms are nice and conventially located."

"Great value and location for the accommodations. They provide 4 hrs per day of free bike rental, but be aware everything else is extra and pricey. Beach rentals, aquatic playground, banana boat rides... expect $65+ a day per kid. But if you're there for a nice accommodation and the beach only it was great. No complaints. We would use them again."
