Rock Reef Resort 97850 Overseas Highway, Key Largo, FL 33037

"Rock Reed Resort is a quaint little hotel and exactly what we were looking for. Our goal for our visit to the Florida Keys was to relax and enjoy some quiet time. The resort is small, and has a mostly adult clientele, which we prefer. Rooms are clean and fairly well maintained, however, you can tell the remodeling and maintenance isn't done by a professional. There is a temperature controlled pool, and it felt great on a 73º day. The lounge chairs, hammocks, and picnic tables by the water were great to watch the sunset or just relax throughout the day. The bonsai garden is a beautiful touch. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and we had the pleasure of meeting the owners. You are told when you check in that they have a procedure regarding cleaning the rooms to minimize expose. You are supposed to place dirty linens in a storage container and tie up your trash bags and they will be collected around 9am, and that no one would be coming inside the room. On our second morning, we hadn't placed anything outside, and when we returned our bed was made and we had fresh towels. No complaint about the service, but it left us slightly confused lol. We will totally stay at this hotel again when visiting the Keys!!"

"They have some really updated rooms. We have stayed here for three years and take the less glamorous rooms because they are less expensive, but very clean and quite roomy for two. We take a bedroom living room suite. The staff is wonderful. The owner is always around and she is extremely meticulous and reliable. There is a lovely, heated pool, a little Japanese garden, a place to grill among the trees and finally a lovely dock and small beach with kayaks. Sunsets are beautiful. What more could you want?"

"We enjoyed our stay at Rock Reef. We stayed in a fully renovated room. Super clean and very comfortable. Enjoyed having the extra chairs and table to sit other than just on the bed. I would recommend ear plugs if you are a light sleeper as you can hear everything outside easily. Front desk service was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again in the future."

"We stay here frequently and absolutely love it.... so much so that we chose to have our wedding here. The owner and her staff made long distance planning easy. They worked well with us and our photographer. It was a perfect setting for an intimate sunset event with endless opportunities for incredible photographs by Julie from nearby Florida Keys Photography. After the ceremony we enjoyed a wonderful meal in the resort grill area. This is a truly magical place where elaborate decorations aren't needed. It is beautiful in and of itself."

"We stayed 1 night while traveling from Miami to Key West. There is a vintage charm about this place. The room had been updated and was clean and welcoming. The heated pool did not disappoint... such a great way to end a busy day. Would absolutely stay again!"
