"Janeylys and Norelisse have been amazing! My boyfriend and I were heading to a wedding rehearsal and we had an emergency and needed a tailor for his pants. They were able to save the day and in a professional way. Thank you again!"
"My wife and I were shopping around for my tux for our wedding that's coming up . We didn't have any intention of buying anything yet, we were taking a look at different places mostly just shopping around. Lily asked us if we needed any help, but I said no I was just looking around. Then I saw some things that I really liked and Lily came right back over to assist us. We asked to try on so many things and she was getting everything we asked for, mostly because my wife and I weren't entirely sure what my look was for the wedding. Lily was very patient with us and took her time. We were there for a while I tell you. She brought us out champagne, and recommended things that my wife and I fell in love with. "She's got a real eye for what goes together" as my wife put it and my wife loved collaborating with her. Lily took my measurements and we put our deposit down for the tux. We weren't even planning on buying one yet. I can honestly say I was very taken aback on the whole experience. You don't experience customer service like this very often but when you do it stands out! I would definitely recommend coming here."
"I had a suit made for my daughter's wedding. The suit had to be a certain color and I knew that I would never find a suit in that color. I saw them am at a Bridal Expo and got all their info. Made an appt to choose the color and to get fitted. I had to pay 50% for them to make the suit. This was fine, but you had to pay the final balance at the end of the first fitting. Very bad business here. If I could have found another place, I would have. This should have been my first clue that this was not going to run smoothly. Lilly called me when the suit was finished. I went for the first fitting and the suit was measured incorrectly. The jacket was too tight and the pants were already hemmed to my ankles without even having my shoes on. Why would any tailor hem a pair of pants without the shoes that you were going to wear? Lilly finally admitted that she measured me incorrectly. I had to come back on a Saturday at 4pm. The time was very inconvenient because that is when the seamstress would be there. I went and she had to refit me for a jacket, take in the pants and lower the hem. I asked Lilly to not text me at all, but to call when this was completed. She would text and I would call back. The store never picks up the phone. I called, left messages. It got to the point that I had to call Puerto Rico twice, that is where their main store is, to speak with a sales staff there. I did message them too, but they also took time in responding. I would have to call to ask if the seamstress was coming and is the suit ready. Very poor communication. Lilly would call 5 minutes after I finished speaking with the other store. Now, I get a text that I need to pay the balance of the suit or else the suit would not be completed and sent me the contract that I signed. I know what I signed. Very insulting. I signed a contract for a suit that was measured properly and for good customer service. Poor business here again. Any business would wait for the final payment at the end. Finally got the suit. It fit great. As I was leaving, Lilly asked if I would like to have the suit steamed. I said yes. I had to wait 12 minutes for the steamer to warm up. The other sales person asked the seamstress why she did not iron the suit before she finished the alterations in Spanish. I told the salesgirl, why would she iron the suit before the suit actually fitted me? The salespeople should have turned on the steamer once the seamstress got to the store at 4pm when I was ready to try on the suit. I would definitely find another place to get a suit made. This was a horrible experience when this should have been a great one. If I could give no stars I would have."
"I want to preface this review by saying that at the end of the day, we don’t regret going with this vendor, my husbands tux was gorgeous, fit like a glove and photographed so well. We will cherish it forever as an heirloom piece. HOWEVER, once we got the tux in, despite having made it custom, the pants were super baggy and the girls at the shop pinned it so tight that our second alterations my fiancé could barely get them on. During this appointment I had to ask to see the actual alterations person who then proceeded to comment about my fiancé saying that clearly he’d gained some weight and his calves were just large. I made them remeasure and compare his calves to the original measurements and he did not grow at all! Luckily they were accommodating and did finally get the pants let out so that they looks right and he could sit. So ultimately I was grateful for their skill and service, but I do wish that person was a bit kinder with her words and owned up to the mistake that they made taking them in. I would still recommend them as they include the alterations, but make sure you ask for the actual seamstress to do the pinning and marking and NOT just the girls in the shop since I don’t think they knew what they were doing there as much. Just prepare yourself for possibly off the cuff comments lol. But the tux was truly gorgeous and the sales girls were very kind and accommodating so at the end of the day we still loved it!"
"I had an amazing experience with the team at Leonardo 5th Avenue! After I learned about their custom suits at a wedding expo I attended, I knew I had to stop by to get one made for my wedding. Nory and the team did an amazing job customizing my suit! Their custom suits are $799 with thousands of possibilities for your suit. I didn’t even know you could customize them that much!! At my first fitting, my suit fit perfectly and didn’t need a single alteration, they’re that good! Thank you to Nory and the team!"
