"To be completely honest I was really disappointed I can't believe the outrageous prices they have on some of the things there. I was looking at just getting sheets to cover my plants. Used sheets that were donated are going for six bucks a piece for a regular one and a fitted one was more. I thought this store was set up to help people with low funds. Seems more like an Enterprise to generate funds. Just speaking my mind"
"Won't shop here anymore due to their practice of bundling items, especially housewares where they wrap stacks of dishes with plastic wrap. 1. The price tag hides details, especially when placed on the bottom over the maker's mark 2. I can't inspect each item I'm buying. Today i bought a stack of 11 plates in 3 different sizes. Unwrapped them at home, 2 had cracks, 2 had chips and 1 had permanent stains. 3. I saw bundles of 3 or 4 competely unrelated items, presumably to justify a $4.99 or more price tag. Annoying if I only want one of those items. There are lots of thrift store options around that are more consumer friendly."
"I used to enjoy going to this Goodwill however the last time I went I about fainted after seeing the cost of some of the shoes. $20 and up for used Converse with scuff marks. You can get them cheaper brand new at Ross right next door. There were people walking out empty handed shaking their heads and commenting loudly about the prices. If management is reading any of these reviews PLEASE consider pricing items to make them a little more affordable."
"1. This Goodwill is overpriced. Se other peoples reviews for examples 2. 90% of items are broken, chipped, torn, or damaged 3. Staff is borderline rude- both on the floor and at the register 4. I was made to feel like I was doing something "wrong" when their registers were not ringing the color of the week items up at 50% off- the original cashier counted my items 3 times thinking that I was trying to "steal" from them. No matter how many times you look at it "cashier", it is the same amount of items and the discount wasn't applied! Only basic math skills are needed to figure out that the pricing was incorrect. Another cashier intervened and conceded that they needed to process a refund and re-ring the transaction- it rang up properly the 2nd time though my rewards points didn't attach. 5. I have lost out of many rewards points because either they didn't enter my number, neglected to enter it correctly or if when they did the color of the week items reverted back to full price- so, it was either get 50% off or pay full price and earn the points. I frequent several Goodwills (in the Central Florida area) this is not how it works. When I brought it to their attention (again, not even leaving the register) they said I am out the points b/c they can't do a refund and re-ring the items ensuring that my points attach. Other Goodwills in the same district have been able to do it. It's interesting that a customer knows more about their own processes than the employees. I have let many other situations (at this GoodWill and others) slide (mainly over charges!) because I didn't catch them until after I arrived home. Be warned- pay attention at the registers- and do not pay until you know everything rang up properly- that is if you decide to shop at Goodwill!"
"Prices are Ridiculous!!!! Ross, Burlington has lower or same prices and the items are NEW! Very disappointed CORPORATE really has to change this or look into this. Goodwill gets all that Stuff For FREE!!!!! and they sell it expensive. Jeans used to be 6.99 , dresses 6.99, shirts were 3.99 ...now many jeans are 11.99 dresses vary but usually 14.99 and shirts are about / 8.99/9.99. RIDICULOUS!!!!!! PLEASE CHANGE PRICES BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS YOU GET all the stuff for FREE!!!!! And like I said you can find same items at a store BRAND NEW FOR CHEAPER."
