"I was looking for a nice sweater for a 96 year old mother of a friend. I had to look through the surplus of sequins and glitter to find something classy, well made of a material which was nice to the touch. I found one, and they had the nicest bags in which to place them in after wrapping in tissues for a dollar. I was so pleased. They don't have many obvious bargains, but you have to look. And it wasn't a fortune. I would go back."

"I visited this Bealls on a weekday in October 2023. I have mixed feelings about this store. They can be light on merchandise in some ways. But what they have at the time of our visit had pretty good prices. They also had a good variety of merchandise. I did see some brand names, at lower prices than I would elsewhere. But, the question is whether they will have what you're looking for at the time of your visit. My take is this is a place that you just stop in to see what they have at the time. Maybe they will have it, maybe they won't. The store itself seemed clean and fairly organized. I didn't notice or obviously experience restrooms. So I cannot comment on that. But everything else seemed respectable and clean. So my opinion of Bealls, is that they are a nice store with good prices. But the stocked merchandise changes. So I see them as a good store to visit to see what deals they have on that particular day, rather than planning on a particular item."

"Nice clean store, good air conditioning. Nice people. Really disappointed their bathrooms were both close the men's and the women's. Seems like they could have done something about that."
