"A good atmosphere with home style Cuban dishes, appetizers and desserts. Coffee is good, food is fresh and service slams. Lunch time is SRO and everyone worships the collada and the cortadito. This is Miami, after all."

"How this isn’t 5 stars must be due to the location (in hospital), size (not full scale) and atmosphere (a touch up would be nice). BUT! The food, service, people, and prices are 5 STAR. Eaten there about 5 times now and it is the best La Carreta restaurant in terms of food, service and portions. Why? Because they tell me its owned by the couple working it for many years. It’s their business and they run it with love. Wait time is super short. It’s a God send for anyone that grew up in Miami and has a patient at this wonderful hospital."
