"I had the blessing of being treated by Dr. Brismay Castellon for weight loss. My journey has not been an easy one as I was struggling to lose weight, fighting with hormonal imbalances. I am happy to report that as almost 3 months ago I had lost 42 pounds and I have been maintaining it since. Nor only I lost the weight, but my cholesterol, triglycerides and blood pressure have all become normal for the first time in 5 years. Prior to getting into this treatment, I did a lot of research, consulted Dr. Brismay, my PCP and my gastrinyerologist. Both my PCP and gastrinyerologist have supported my journey and were very comfortable with the way Brismay was handling my treatment. Though my goal was to gradually loose the weight in a way I could sustain it, I wasn't seeing the results I wanted after 3 months of being on Semaglutide. At which point, after my labs, she decided that I would be a good candidate to go in Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) and my results were significant. This is once again a testament of the importance of being monitored by your health care professional while in such treatments, as every patient reacts differently and Dr. Brismay was with me along the way. Her bedside manners are exemplary of what every healthcare professional should be, as at the end we are putting our health and trust in their hands. She always answered my messages, my questions and evaluated me throughout the process. She carefully monitored me to ensure that I was responding well to the treatment, which gave me a significant comfort level. I cannot express how greatful I am. I not only lost the weight and feel better about myself, but I also have energy, and feel regaining control over my health again. Health is life and I it has been a sacrifice worth making. Dr. Brismay is kind, compassionate, professional and very dedicated to not only treating but also to educating her patients. Many people want the immediate redults and if they don't see them, they quit. So I was compelled to share my story here, as it is a step into a new me. My journey was based on the need to become healthy again after many failed attempts with other programs. It took research, evaluating risks versus benefits, sacrifice, consistency and commitment, and I had Dr. Brismay by my side. I highly recommend that if you're considering these types of weight-loss treatments, you do your research and make educated decisions on what is the best plan for you, and there is no one else I would do this with than Dr. Brismay and the staff of @newcaremedicalgroup."

"Edit : since they responded. The gaslighting and lack of accountability is out of this world. After I called like four or five times to ask for the money to be sent to my credit card and they always gave me an excuse not to do it lol. Nobody followed up to see how I was doing. This practice cannot be any worse. If I could give this place zero stars I would. These people have no manners and are very rude. I went for the semaglutide treatment. To Make a long story short, they injected the first dose right there without checking bloodwork or anything first, and gave me three more filled syringes with the medicine. After that nobody checked on me, nobody called me to see how I was doing. Nothing, no communication. Important no Bloodwork was checked before giving me the medication. I had the worst side effects and I noticed I wasn’t digesting food properly . So I called this office,( the doctor who is a Nurse Practitioner not a MD which they never made the distinction, they mislead people to believe she is a MD), I told the receptionist or whoever answered the phone, that I was feeling bad and wasn’t going to continue the treatment to please refund me half of the money since I wasn’t going to do the second month, because of the health issues. In a condescending manner she told me “they don’t do refunds” I told her my bloodwork was never checked,, and I’m not even asking for a full refund, just for the medicine i wasn’t going to use. I believe not checking bloodwork before starting the medicine goes against the protocol of the medicine and she told me “ the doctor never gives the medicine without checking the bloodwork first.”She then proceeded to put me on hold and apparently told this to the “doctor” ( nurse practitioner). She came back to the phone , with a different tone and suddenly was really nice and told me they were going to refund me $400. I told them I would like a check and will go pick it up. I was really busy and told them to please put it back in my credit card( which they gave me as an option at the beginning). They told me that they had to ask the “doctor” I called 3 or 4 more times and the doctor was always unavailable, you would think after doing things wrong like not checking my bloodwork she would want to speak with me or something. Nothing. I had to dispute the amount with my credit card and waiting on the result. This practice only cares about the money. Shame on Aly Sanchez to promote this business, I went there because of her, but again a business that needs promotion is a red flag. I should have known better Nothing you see on Instagram is what you will get or at least it was not what I got."

"At New Care Medical I feel great every time I go, the girls staffs are so nice and Dr. Castellón is very professional and care about her patients like no other doctor or no one does. Highly recommend!"

"In this office social media is more important than patient care apparently. I was waiting for an instagram “ live” be done, even though I was already waiting after initial assesment and past medical history had been done. So you’re answering people on social media yet you’re leaving a patient waiting at your office unattended???Then I nicely joined the instagram live happening next door to let the doctor know i was waiting next door for just results, which she ignored. I then continued waiting for this nonsense to finish, i told the medical assistant to please let doctor know I was there waiting for a while already while doctor was with two irrelevant influencers filming a live in the middle of me waiting for assistance. I then again joined the live and commented it wasn’t professional for a live to be happening while a patient is waiting, so I left. The influencer that was in the office rudely told me “ the world does not revolve around you” . Ok first of all very unprofessional behavior from this practice to let outside influencers respond to a patient in that matter. Needless to say I will not be going back, I don’t feel safe and I hope my information is not being shared with any of these influencers that are not medical professionals nor have any manners. I am a medical professional, it is unacceptable for me to record a live on instagram while I have a patient waiting. Patient should always always come first. Not to mention, i was blocked from the clinics instagram account just for voicing my opinion.Please be mindful on how you as a medical professional interact with people or things that can affect your reputation and always keep in mind that you shouldn’t mix social media and healthcare on your patients time, specially if you do primary care. Businesses like these are all over miami, cannot recommended to any of my friends and peers, which are many. Unacceptable."

"Hormone therapy (Pellets) Before my first treatment 4 month ago I was a women with headaches, always tired, hair lost, no sleep , etc. Dr Britney recommend to try and do the treatment, will never regret doing it. I’m another person today - my skim, weight, more active , etc. Today I went for my second round and I will do it again if I have to. Highly recommend this treatment.
