"An affordable vet from people who really care. Our pets have always been taken good care of here. From routine vet care to getting your fur baby spayed or neutered everything here is reasonably priced. The staff is always friendly and kind."
"We took our cat in for spaying. We told the staff, the vat was a stray and weren't sure if she was spayed but before they did anything, be sure to check her status. We were called and told to return to pick her up. Upon our return, we were informed that the cat was a male, who was already neutered, and not a female. When we got him home, we noticed there was a cut on his abdomen. Apparently, they cut him open to do the spaying surgery, found out he was a male, and closed him back with a laser. We called to complain about their obvious mistake, and, they said they wouldn't issue a refund because they already used anesthesia and lasered his stomach. The place looks like a chop shop, knock em out,cut em up, and close. We don't get paid to look. This happened 2 years ago."
"I’ve had 5 animals neutered there and one emergency visit. The tall male vet is very nice and the front desk is good. The wait is long for an appointment to see the vet or make spay/neuter but doable. I love that there are weekend vet hours - even if it’s just for stabilization."
"We took Sailor, a stray we found on the military base in Jacksonville Florida in to be neutered. When we picked him up the next morning, we found out he was a little girl, not a boy and she had babies back on base. We were able to catch all three of her babies and had them all adopted as a family to a former Marine who was retired. He had actually lost Sailor when he had stayed on the base months before we found her and when he found out we had located her, wanted her and all three of her babies! They all live now in their forever home just outside of Jacksonville. We are happy we were able to help out this family of cats and are greatful to know that Clay County Humane society played such a big part in saving Sailor and her babies! What a great place!"
