Reviews of Physicians Associates LLC
"I made an appointment for 9:15 and was informed the day before to be there 30 minutes prior for the paperwork. Well they also email you the paperwork so you don't have to do it in the office. I get there at 9:00 and the lady is telling me I was supposed to arrive early for paperwork. I'm explaining I already completed it online. Some rude punk walks by and just spits out reschedule it(like I'm just a number) So she informs me even though I completed all my paperwork online they like having it on paper and she'll have to reschedule. I laugh, like I would consider coming back at this point. I clarify Even though the appt is for 9:15 and it's 9:00 and I filled all the papers out already I have to reschedule? Then says that the doctors are very strict about arriving early. I said yeah for the paperwork I completed already, then she lies and says well there's more paperwork to fill out actually. Oh is there, now that you realize how ridiculous you sound? Then asks if I want to reschedule again. Most doctor offices will let you be seen since you're sick and you're there, and NOT LATE FOR THE TIME OF THE APPOINTMENT. If it's that important for the 30 minutes, that should be included in setting the appointment time. It's pretty amazing, never even considered what I was coming in for. This is a typical pick a number and wait office setting. They DO NOT care about the patient or their valuable time."
"Own primary doctor retired and my dad and I had to find new doctors. We were already with Physicians Associates but switched to the Grant Street location. The office is nice and clean the staff has been so warm and welcoming. Dad has Dr. Mestre and I have Dr. Zivalich and we are both very happy with our new doctors. Highly recommend their office."
"I called ahead to inform I would be 15 min late due to traffic and I actually got there in12 min. They canceled my appointment. It takes forever to set an appointment and I would figure they would honor their 16mon grave period due to circumstances beyond your control. I have been a patient for over 5 years. My original dr retired, we loved him,. Time to find a new provider anyone have any ideals. Also my EKG was abnormal and no one told me. I did find out until I ordered them for another appointment. I was then told they had been abnormal fir 3 years. No one shared this with me the patient."
"Every time I come here it seems like I have to wait almost 45 minutes to be called back to be seen - even though i show up at least 15 minutes early. Today is no exception. I’m here for my Mother in law and it’s no better. I must remember from now on to clear my work schedule for no less than four hours if i must visit this office. I feel like there is no consideration or respect for my time. I think it could be better handled if they would at least communicate the status of my doctor and my appointment. Tell me the doctor is running 15 or 20 minutes behind instead of leaving me guessing for 45 minutes. UPDATE: My impatience might have gotten the better of me. I was gently reminded by my wife that sometimes the Doctors and staff have little control over the time of each visit as each case can be different and might require more time than others. I was suggested to keep this thought in mind: how many questions would I have for my doctor if I just learned that I had a critical condition that completely rocked my world? How many tests would I want to take to give me every opportunity to get beyond that condition? ... i vow to keep this in mind with my future visits. I hope others might benefit from this update as much as I have."
"I'd give no stars, if possible. I gave this place plenty of chances to get their act together. My family of four were patients for 3 years...all the while having problems with insurance issues (that the office should handle but we had to be the go between for them). Today was the last straw...I show up for an appointment for med refill and Dr Frank wanted to charge me $100 for an appointment I didn't have on my calendar. They could have told me this BEFORE I showed up or when I made this appointment. She knew I needed a refill but wanted $50 in addition to my copay to see me. We've waited literally hours from our appointment time while they catch up. I've had to chase down referrals...one was still outstanding. I let them know we will never return...they didn't care. It's not because they are that great, I really think they are that stupid. At one point during the 3 years we saw them, I had to actually schedule an appointment to speak with Dr Frank about the problems we were having with the office and customer service. And they made me pay a co-pay for what was essentially a bogus medical appointment. BEWARE of your care with this group. They will take any fee they can get out of you. I have always completed the surveys they send in the mail - it has made no difference. I will file a complaint against Dr Frank for not seeing me to fill my prescription. I gladly move on from that nightmare of an office. My only hope is they experience the same care and customer service they provide to their patients. Maybe that will eventually result in the correct changes needed to make that office viable. I'm also concerned for all the elderly patients I see in the waiting room...I sincerely hope they aren't taking advantage of them with the fees my family has had to endure. For instance, I have 2 boys who are treated for ADHD. Dr Mestre made us come in every month (costing $60) to get their prescription, when the law requires every 3 months. He blamed it on their lawyers. It is a truly sad situation. Beware of this practice!"
