"I called to schedule an appointment for a sick dog. They were able to get me in the next day. I had to call to change my appointment time bc my toddler aged children and myself have step throat (we are on antibiotics) and I could not physically get out of bed. They were kind of enough to re-schedule me to a 3:30pm time slot. My husband was running home late from work. I called the vet office TWICE to tell them I was running late and they told me “it was fine and to come in anyways”. I was pulling into the vet parking lot at 3:45pm and they called again to ask me to come in the morning instead with the dog. I told them I could not do that due to my kids. I walk into the office, with the dog, and the gal behind the desk decides to GRILL me on the fact I told them we are home sick, yet still showed up for a vet appointment. No hello. No greeting. Just an immediate attack on the fact I needed to reschedule the appointment from this morning to later in the afternoon, my assumption is she thought I was lying to her. I literally asked her if she “needed to see my strep test” since she felt the need to pick me apart as if it were her business? I have never felt more disrespected and more of an inconvenience to a business in my entire life. I ended up walking out and am honestly glad I did, if this is how you treat new clients I would not have wanted to associate myself with them anyways. I would never recommend this business to another person. I am so disappointed at the lack of compassion and the immediate need to discredit me the moment I walked in the door? Probably the most bizarre encounter I’ve ever had at a business. Maybe I’m too used to a small town nice mentality, but this is not right."

"Our experience with our cat Rosie who is skittish with unfamiliar places and people turned out to be a positive experience for us and Rosie. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rosie was comfortable with staff and they were very gentle with her. We are so happy we chose Sunnybrook Animal Hospital!"
