"This was a very busy restaurant yet I had no wait. The bus boys sat me took my drink order. A very busy waitress took my meal order. I ordered the special which was meatloaf cuz I love homemade meatloaf. The mashed potatoes still had their skin on it which is how I like it. Definitely homemade. The meatloaf was also homemade. It was unusual to me. I can might have cornbread in it. I like cornbread. It was just an unusual palette for me. I ate it. I enjoyed the spinach until I got a mouth full of salt and then I stopped eating the spinach. It was very disappointing. I don't understand why restaurants have a hard time controlling their salt seasoning. I don't care what food network says. I do not like a mouthful of salt in my food. It will not stop me from returning if I'm back in the Fernandina area because there are other things on the menu I would like to enjoy. There's definitely worth a visit"

"Breakfast was very good. Expect a little wait during peak times. This is a typical local place with good food and good service. Nothing fancy. Check out the breakfast bowls and burritos. If we were not traveling I would have purchased a cake. Lots of people were purchasing them which is a very good sign."
