"My dog Eli had bladder stones and I was referred to a hospital that estimated the cost of surgery to be around $6000. Knowing that was out of my range I told them I couldn’t do that. Fortunately, they sent me a list of more affordable places and recommended Metzler Veterinary Hospital. By the time I made an appointment and got Eli there he was in very bad health. His lab work was critical. After 2 days of IV fluids, and antibiotics, he was improved enough to have surgery. Even with that the cost was under $1000. Dr. Dorian did his surgery and it was an unusual case and ultimately found that besides the stones Eli has transitional cell carcinoma. He is on medication now and so far is a completely different dog. He eats well, plays, has gained weight and looks great. I don’t know how long this will last but I do not regret having the surgery. Dr. Dorian was very caring as was all the staff. I would highly recommend them."

"My first visit was a consult for an enucleation. They did the surgery, my boy healed very well, he no longer suffered from the glaucoma. I've been back for a nasal issue and am very happy to have such great care provided. I also had thorough discussion on treatment options and so appreciated that they listened to me and respected my concerns and financial situation. My other vet understands my situation but every question led to a series of tests, visits and follow up visits. I just couldn't afford it and though I know they care about my pets and sometimes testing is unavoidable, it just seemed like we were getting nowhere. I rescued a senior bonded pair of dogs after I had to cross my previous dog over the rainbow bridge and unfortunately I don't have their health history to aid in their current health issues. Wouldn't change a thing and will rescue again! I absolutely recommend Metzler!"

"This vet hospital saved us in every way possible. Unfortunately my baby girl Karma had a vaginal prolapse and the first emergency vet we were able to get into completely broke our spirit. We were estimated at over $9000 between emergency clinic fees, emergency spay surgery, medications, etc. They told us that if we couldn't afford the surgery they would recommended euthanasia for my 2 year baby girl. I was absolutely heartbroken, and felt like the worst dog mama ever, most vets were closed in preperation for Idalia and surgery was needed immediately. Luckily we were able to find Metzler and Dr Dorian agreed to do her surgery. We were only charged roughly $700 and saved my baby girls life. I have never felt so blessed in my life so far. On top of that, we felt the amazing loving and caring energy from every single person in this hospital! My dog, exhausted and in some pain, even rolled over for some belly rubs from the doctor. I absolutely recommended this vet we will 100% be continuing vet care here."
