"We just had our two parrots in for their check up exam. Dr. Anderson, the avian specialist, is a God send! His years of experience shined as he examined our birds. The technician, Kristi (I'm not sure she spells it that way), was also AMAZING. Complete caring and honesty was shown throughout. No double talk, quick sell for unnecessary testing. I'd recommend Ravenwood to ANYONE seeking care for their pet, especially birds. God bless them."

"Dr. Emerson is the absolute best. She’s so incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, detailed, she’s so caring, and the ONLY person we trust with our baby. She has saved our little girl’s life multiple times. We owe everything to her. Her nurses, Natalia, Nicole, and Emma are also amazing. The front desk is great. We moved to FL from NY to be closer to Dr. Emerson. She’s our hero."

"My cats doctor was Chris Elder, very caring and I was actually aloud in the room unlike Halifax Vet Center. Their technician was Cristina and she did an amazing job as well!!! Everyone upfront was staying busy and making sure that everyone was helped. I was very impressed. It’s hard when doctors are either out to just make the big bucks or we have the good doctors who are honest and make sure your animals are actually getting the help that they deserve! "DO NOT GO HERE. I wish I could give them zero stars. Recently my bunny hurt his leg, and I called around and tried to find the best vet possible for him. When I contacted RavenWood, they assured me that they had great vets that specialized in rabbits, and that they had seen numerous ones before. So I set up an appointment for the next day over the phone and the lady was nice enough to give me all the estimated prices, so I knew what to expect when it was time to pay. They explained to me that since he was a bunny, I could not go in the back with him and I would have to drop him off. They would then give me a call when he was ready to be picked up. After the first appointment, my bunny was all wrapped up nicely, and Ashley (the vet/technician) told me that there would be a 4-6 week process of bringing him back weekly, so they could re-bandage his hind leg. They also explained to me that the break in hospital leg was a nasty break right below his femur. So they sent him home with some meds and that was all. I requested that they email me the x-rays of his leg. (They never did, even when I asked the 2nd and 3rd time). I came back weekly for 2 weeks on time and never missed an appointment. During that second week, he started to have noises coming from his stomach similarly to what you would hear when you’re starving or have an upset stomach. I called them about this, and they told me to just spray apple juice on his food, but they never specified which kind was actually safe for him. Therefore, I just kept a close eye on him and made sure he was still eating and drinking and using the bathroom routinely, which he was. On Dec. 15th, I brought him in for his weekly check up, and they assured me that he was doing well, and they didn’t have to sedate him as he was easy to work with when doing the re-bandaging process. After they brought my bunny out, I talked to the technician about what I could do for him at home as I was going to drive back home for winter break. The technician told me that there really wasn’t much I could do besides keep him in a small area where he couldn’t move as much to lessen the chance of him making his condition worse. The technician also told me that they had rescheduled me for a week out and we left. I got home that same day and a week later my bunny passed away. I was completely heartbroken as he was only almost 3yrs old and perfectly healthy before this. He had just went to the vet for his check up and was completely healthy. I took my bunny with me everywhere and he was my emotional support. We decided to unwrap his leg to see just how bad it looked and, to my surprise, they didn’t even shave his leg or even trim it. My dad basically was ripping his hair out trying to unwrap my bunny’s leg. This led me to believe that they were never fully changing the bandage like they told me they were doing. So how were they even assessing his leg every week correctly if they never even fully looked at it? To get a better opinion, I called my bunny’s main veterinarian to explain what happened and what was going on, and she told me that they should’ve at least shaved him and that there was no way they were actually checking his leg during the weeks I brought him. After calling two more times after his death, they finally sent me his x-rays and the only break was his fibula. Overall, I would say I wouldn’t suggest bringing RavenWood your bunny, even if there’s no other vet around. If I could go back in time and not bring him, I definitely would."
