"We’ve been long time customers of Madruga and we’ve always loved it and recommended it to everybody. I put 4* because recently we have seen a decrease in quality. The avocado toast at $10 the other day was merely a piece of bread with avocado mash on it, little tomatoes. Croissants this morning had a taste of old bread. We’ll go again for sure but wanted to point that out for bakery owners."

"Best place to get a great baguette around here. It is crunchy on the outside, and very flavorful. Always fresh. The berry scone is delicious. The only bummer is that the wait in line is always way too long and too hot in the sun. Not sure what the solution would be but it's inconvenient to wait 20 min for a baguette. Maybe separate lines for people ordering meals than for those just wanting a small bakery item."

"We finally had the chance to check out Madruga Bakery in Coral Gables…and I can see why there is a ton of hype around this place! At 8:30 in the morning on a weekday, the line was already out the door, but they moved fast so we only sat in line about 10 minutes. We got an excellent hot chai tea, iced latte and hot coffee, and some different pastries: quiche, monkey bread, spinach and feta pocket, chocolate hazelnut croissant, and chocolate banana walnut bread! Everything was AWESOME! We can’t even pick a favorite - we would order everything again! Could this be one of the best bakeries in the Miami area?! Maybe! We cannot wait to go back and try out many more types of pastries. You need to get here quick before they start to sell out! They have fresh-baked bread, breakfast sandwiches, lunch options, and so much more. This is an awesome place!"

"I have been only once in this place. I bought baguettes with seeds and the flavor was excellent! I also bought a carrot cake and my husband loved it. I didn't like so much because it had too much layers of cream and I like when the cakes are more simple, but this is a very personal taste. The chicken empanada was a kind of salty, the only recommendation is to reduce the amount of salt. The service was great. I can tell that a lot of local people go frequently to this place because I saw the owner greeting many of them. I definitely recommend to visit Madruga Bakery to buy bread and to experience yourself this place!"
