"Very disappointed with office. My mother is a patient of Dr. Overman. Unfortunately because of her insurance she has to go through his office to get authorization. Her oncologist ordered an ultrasound for her & sent a request for auth to his office. They refused so she canceled the ultrasound, then a nice lady from the ultrasound place called his office and was able to get approval so she had the ultrasound and had scheduled a follow up with her oncologist. Well again Dr. Overman’s office refused to approve her follow up with her oncologist to get the results of her ultrasound, when she called his office she was told by the lady on the phone that she was going to get involved and put someone else on the phone who proceeded to tell her that she has an appointment scheduled with Dr. Overman and she can discuss the results with him then. My mom proceeded to tell this person that her oncologist ordered the ultrasound and she would like to get her results- the person on the phone then prove to say well nothing showed up anyway and proceeded to tell her she can talk to Dr. Overman about it. I am sick at how this office treats there patients. You are hindering medical care to someone who needs it. I’m surprised there has been a malpractice suit against him. I worked in the medical field this is not how you treat patients!! Don’t go here!! They do not have your best interest at heart & I’m sure they will have a law suit on their hands soon."

"I am simply trying to get an appt. I was referred here by another office and the gal who answered the phone sounded like she hated life. No care or concern at all. It will take a few weeks to get an appt, no problem, I don't need an appt urgently. HEAVY SIGH, "please hold." Sat on hold for a few, the line reconnected and she just hung up. I only called because I was referred by another office, the reviews made me pretty hesitant and then such a wonderful nurse or receptionist. Honestly, what happened to medical offices who care about patients? Isn't that how you make your money? At the very least you should want to get paid...let alone help people, which seems to be why you would want to go into the medical field."

"My Dad regularly sees Lindsay Overman PA-C and he absolutely loves her. As my father’s guardian, living out of state can be extremely difficult in coordinating care. The office staff is extremely attentive to our needs and quick to respond. PA Overman follows up with me regarding his status after appointments and keeps me informed should she have any concerns. It is very comforting knowing that he does not get lost in the shuffle. I am grateful for the care he receives there."

"I'm new to Florida and made an appt. with Dr. Overman. After my first visit, I wasn't sure he and I were a good fit, so I made an appt. with a different WellMed doctor. The second visit here, I saw Lindsey. She was very nice and a great listener. Then, I had an extremely urgent situation and saw Dr. Overman for the second time. This time, he was very kind and considerate. I had decided to stay with this office but forgot about my other appt. and did not cancel it. During my urgent appt. I was prescribed a medication that was causing severe headaches, so I discontinued it after 2 days.Twice, I called the office and told them that I needed a different medication called in. No one called me for 8 days! When she did call, I was told to take up my medication change with the new doctor appt. on Dec. 2nd. Obviously, Dr. Overman does not take his Hippocratic Oath very seriously. My situation was very dangerous and he left me unmedicated for days on end! My friends and family can't believe the way I was treated. My oldest daughter is an RN and I'm a former medical asst. Neither one of us have ever heard of a doctor treating a patient this way. No wonder the office is always so empty. Stay clear of this place, if you want to stay healthy!!"

"I have been going here eight years, just leaving now as I am moving out of state. I have received good care, he is brief if you don't have questions for him during an office visit. It was always easy to get in when needed! I did not like the alcohol and depression questioners shoved at you all the time. I refused it once and they still billed Medicare! Other then that, a good basic PC Doctor."
