"This review have nothing to do with the doctor! 3 weeks ago had an ear infection,went to the argent care on 64 Bradenton when they checked my blood pressure it was so high I was told to go see my primary doctor as soon as possible, but when I told them my appointment with the doctor is about 3 weeks out the recommended that I buy my self blood pressure machine and keep an eye on it tell I see my doctor. 6 months earlier we started looking for primary doctor in Bradenton because we have recently moved from Boston, so looking for a doctor on google with 4 stars plus we found doctor Anthony Hemmer so I called to make an appointment for my wife and I when I called about 6 months ago I I was told its about 6 months wait I agreed then she asked me my name my address and my insurance info she asked for my card ID number then she asked for my wife’s info I gave her that and confirmed that you except both insurance plans she said yes. So we were sent tons of forms to fell by mail and about one week ago we received a text again to provide the office with our info again in which we did. This morning at 8:45am I was at the office about half an hour earlier I approach the front desk saying good morning I was immediately asked for my ID and my insurance card so I did she looked at my card and handed me everything back we don’t take this insurance company I smiled and said you must be kidding mam she said no not kidding then my heat beat started to go fast I said you guys didn’t know this 6 months ago? No we don’t take you insurance I said mam why you didn’t tell me this 6 months ago? She said I understand I said no mam you don’t understand that I have been waiting for 6 months please stop saying you understand. She never asked if I am welling to pay cash or even ask if it’s an emergency or is it very important you need to see a doctor? Nothing she wasn’t even concerned or have any sympathy none. So I am back to square one looking for primary doctor all over again but what so sad going to a doctors office like going to a use car store or a butcher shop we have lost our dignity and integrity we lost our decency. The Doctor is where the buck stops! Something like this should never happen to a human being ever specially when we trust you with our lives. Thank you"

"I do NOT recommend. Dr Hemmer refused to care for me over an 80.00 bill that I didn't know I owed. He also refused to refill my much needed blood pressure medication along with others. I've also been charged twice for a televisit, not once, but 3 separate times. There are many other good doctors, stay away from this one"
