"Very disappointed by this doctor and office. Took 15 weeks to give me my MRI results after I called countless times. They were very rude about it and did not take time to answer any of my questions about my condition because they were "busy with patients" (which I guess I was suddenly not a patient). I was told that most likely no news was good news and that was most definitely not true. After 15 weeks of waiting I was finally able to see a Neurosurgeon and get the help I need. I called Palma Sola and asked them to refer me to this specific neurosurgeon and to send my files there and they did not do that, so he did not even have everything he needed. They didn't send me my MRI report as I requested, so I went to the Manatee Outpatient Facility and got it there as I felt hopeless trying to get help here. Glad I did that as otherwise my neurosurgeon would have had nothing. Also, I had an EMG appointment at 4 and showed up at 3:50. At around 4:30 a nurse took me back to take my blood pressure and as she was speaking to me the doctor came in, interrupted (which is fine but the next part isn’t), and said “this isn’t about you, I don’t have time for you yet”. Very rude. I was then taken back to the waiting room. At 5 PM I had still not been seen for my test by the doctor. I asked the front desk how long it would be and they said 5-10 minutes. I waited 10 minutes and at 5:10 I came up and said I’d like a refund and I’m going to leave. The woman at the front desk said “well didn’t we tell you he’s always late? We usually tell everyone. He tries to be on time but mostly isn’t.” And I said that seems like a disrespectful way to run a businesses. She then said “well let me go tell him you want a refund and then i bet he’ll be ready for you after hearing that.” Like WHAT? That’s an insane way to handle patients. So she does that and he says “well when does she need to be where she’s going by?” And I said that doesn’t really matter I have just been waiting for an hour and 15 minutes past my appointment time and would like to be seen. He said “well honey I’m just doing paperwork I guess I could do the test now if you want a refund.” Considering an EMG is a painful procedure, I decided to leave as I’d like my doctor to actually have regard for his patients and not just the money. On top of this, I never received my results from my CT despite calling and asking twice. I mentioned it to the nurse as well and got nothing. The only saving grace was that the older woman in the front desk staff is nice. However the woman in the mask was coughing a lot and making jokes and telling stories about how she thought she OD’d on NyQuil the day before and was sick and was going to go home and drink some wine and more NyQuil. Seems maybe someone should’ve stayed home from work as not to spread illness to patients. Just a trainwreck of an appointment. (Appointment was on November 1st). Oh yea and if you’re 15 minutes late they’ll charge you $25 and cancel your appointment but they can be an hour and 15 minutes late and expect you to stick around even longer. Feel like just a paycheck here and was caused way more stress than healing."
"Absolutely the worst neurologist office I have heard of. As a pharmacist, I’ve dealt with a lot. My sister went here for some testing. She called countless times to get her results. Test was in the beginning of September and they didn’t get back to her with results until the very end of DECEMBER. they told her no news was good news. But after four months she finds out about potentially life threatening results. They then REFUSED to discuss her results with her as they are “busy with patients”. Is she not also a patient? She was told Monday was the only day they go over results or talk to patients and she just needed to “be more patient”. It took them 15 WEEKS to get her the results. That’s 15 Mondays they could’ve taken to call her and kindly let her know she has a SERIOUS MEDICAL ISSUE. That is completely unacceptable. How much more patient do you need to be? Please do not go here or let your loved ones go here. Medical malpractice suit is not far away for this office. She also had an appointment for a different test but after waiting almost 2 hours and being told the doctor was just sitting around doing paperwork and would see her only because she said she wanted a refund. She left without care. Office will be reported to the medical board. Don’t go here. A few of these “positive reviews” are from employees not patients if that tells you anything about the kind of operation they’re running."
"My wife and I both needed to visit a neurologist as our medical conditions were no longer treatable by our family physician. We decided to see Dr.Yathiraj. We are beyond happy that we did. Dr. Yathiraj is a fantastic doctor. He literally spent hours with us performing examinations, obtaining complete medical history and laying out a plan that will treat our conditions going forward. Dr Yathiraj also has a great bed side manner. He was extremely personable and had a great sense of humor. The entire staff were great to deal with. While I understand that folks don’t like waiting at a doctors office (I don’t either), having Dr.Yathiraj’s undivided attention during our visit was without a doubt worth the wait. We look forward to continuing working with Dr.Yathiraj and recommend that those in need of a neurologist do so also. Dan"
"While I was his patient he asked my ethnicity, he also was showing me some CIA medal thing. He told me I should go camping. What ever that means"
