Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken

"Been driving by for years and finally decided to stop in. Got a 2 piece with 2 sides. Restaurant looks a little weathered...inside and out. Could use a good cleaning and an update. Staff was ok. The green beans, coleslaw, biscuit, and fried wing were good, but a bit salty. The roasted breast was terrible - very very dry...seemed old or rewarmed. I couldn't eat it. This place wasn't the best...wasn't the worst, but I likely won't be back."

"Need to update your web site the prices are different on web compared to inside business. Went to get chicken for family was going to order 16 pc.meal because price was $27.99 but inside the restaurant the board said $47.99. That is quite a big difference. I have always bought from here for last 20 years but will find a different place now"

"This place doesn’t need to exist. Grungy looking establishment inside and out, with equally rough-around-the-edges staff. Food was pretty terrible too. I ordered the chicken tender plate with mac & cheese and baked beans, and a container of fried chicken livers. The tenders were ALRIGHT, better than most fast food places (McDonald’s, BK, etc), but still terrible compared to other places that focus on fried chicken (Popeyes, PDQ, etc). The sides were atrocious, and the livers were the worst I’ve ever had. Ate two of them and threw the rest away. Their texture was so disconcerting that I’m unsure if they were even actual liver. Either way, I’m just excited that the two I ate didn’t make me physically ill. Don’t eat here."
