"Dr Dixon, Dr Botts, and the PA Tobi are absolutely amazing. They are caring awesome surgeons and I appreciate the work they have done to make me get better! I especially want to shoutout Tobi for being an absolute angel to me. Tobi you truly are an amazing person! Thank you for the care you gave!"
"They canceled my appointment that I’ve had scheduled for months because of a miscommunication on THEIR part, when I finally was able to get the secretary to actually listen to me instead of transferring me or placing me on hold they scheduled for a later time…. Which didn’t work with my schedule as a working mom…. I asked about the office on nine mile instead and she was rude and told me they were booked out and they couldn’t keep changing locations. I didn’t even make it to see the doctor, their front office secretary was all I needed to know I do not want to deal with this doctor office at all!! Zero stars"
"I was referred to them by my Dr. and the Baptist ER and both asked them to expedite seeing me because how bad my ears are. I have been on antibiotics and steroids for 3 weeks! The message on the machine even said they except walk-ins so I held on to hope they could fit me in for some help as I am in unbearable pain almost as bad as child birth. just to be on hold for over 20 minutes and the lady to tell me ear problems aren’t considered STAT and she can’t get me in until the end of January. Reading all these negative reviews makes sense now."
"Unless you have 3 hours to waste on just trying to get someone to pick up the damn phone, and that honestly translates to every single baptist facility don't even bother."
"In March 2022 a referral was sent to the Audiology Dept. for me due to the tinnitis I am experiencing. Finally, on June 15 (a solid three months later) I received a call from Dr. Donahue's office (a voice mail was left because I was away from my phone). I tried numerous times to call back that very evening. I called again on the 16th. I explained that I was returning their call and had tried numerous times the previous day. Before I could let the office employee know that I was still interested in getting an appointment, she became very rude and said, "we only deal with people in the order we receive information." I was so shocked by that attitude because I had never been spoken to like that by a supposedly "professional." I said, "okay and let her know that, when they can work me in, call be back. I waited another three months and called again, waited 5 minutes for someone in that department to answer the phone...nothing. I called my primary physician and said to send a referral to Sacred Heart. I waited another six months (Sept. to March). I called Sacred Heart and they had not received any referral (someone dropped the ball from Baptist Medical Group). After waiting an entire year dealing with this tinnitis, my primary doctor sent a referral to W. Florida. I received a call two days later and I got scheduled for next month. It shouldn't have taken three months to even get a call from Baptist Audiology Dept. due to the number of specialists in this area. I am sure Dr. Donahue might be a thorough, compassionate doctor, but getting past the rude office worker caused a loss of a new patient. That so-called office employee probably chased other potential patients away. Other reviews mention the rude office staff, but I am sure nothing is being done about them. There are many qualified people out there who would appreciate that job and treat patients kindly."
