"It was okay! I think the concept is novel. However, I would recommend getting a sweet taiyaki, not a savory one. I had the bacon and cheese one and my friend had the kimchi melt. I've had more flavorful fish from the 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill. And for 5 dollars, they were pretty small. Overall, come here for dessert or not at all."

"Wow! Since my trip to Japan, I was looking for Taiyaki in the US and anywhere. My search is over, this place is as close to the Japan Taiyaki I tasted. I had the original Red Bean Paste, the Tamago & Cheese and my wife had the Custard Cream. To bad I am from outside US, but every time I travel to Orlando, this will me my first stop."

"It was really tasty and fast and fresh. I wish I got the 3 for $12, because the size of just one is pretty tiny. I had the matcha cream with the chocolate dipping sauce. Chocolate and matcha are always winning combination. I will be back to try more! There are alot of flavors including sweet and savory ones. The seating is very limited to either going downstairs and getting a table, or about 3 scattered tables just outside the shop. Can be a bit difficult to find a seat especially if the Market itself is really busy. But the waffles themselves are pretty to easy to eat standing up if need be. They have a really unique tayaki ice cream cone which I'll try next time, but it was be great to have an option to add ice cream to one of the sweet tayakis because that just seems like perfect dessert! Ice cream flavors are pretty limited, because it was just vanilla and strawberry at the time but they do have some interesting topping choices. Not run of the mill at all, but just a bit lacking. Hard to choose since everything is so new! Update: Tried some new flavors again. Sort of disappointed. They were not fresh. I had the bacon egg and cheese, the custard and the Nutella. The bacon egg and cheese was stale, and the egg was way overcooked. The flavor was okay but it was just not enjoyable . The Nutella had barely any filling, the custard was warm at least and had a decent amount of filling. The custard filling was more like condensed milk tasting that what I was expecting but it was tasty. It was the best of the bunch. It's pretty hit or miss. They didn't have the red bean or the matcha which is what I wanted. So yet again I was disappointed in lack of choices."

"What a cute little shop! Every time I've come here it's unfortunately been closed. So I was so happy to actually get to go today. I got a taiyaki cone. Came with a vanilla soft serve. And I got the matcha cone which has a matcha creme filling inside the cone. And I also topped my cone with matcha. (I really like matcha ok) the cone was crunchy and almost cookie like. All the cones are made fresh in house with cute little fish shaped irons. They had really cute shirts and hats I wanted but not for almost 30 bucks. I loved my cone! But I will say caution on the matcha powder because I took a bite and accidentally inhaled the matcha powder and it felt like cinnamon challenge flashbacks. Still delicious. Fast friendly service. Good food. What more could you want."

"Super cool waffle and waffle assorted toasties and ice creams served here. It’s located upstairs in the East End market. It’s a tight store front so there will likely be a line out the door. I enjoyed my ice cream and toasties both served in waffles."
