"Stacy was very rude tonight. She was rude before checking me out and continued to argue and instigate more confrontation with me. When I told her the machine said waiting on cashier she loudly said "I am the assistant manager"!! The gentleman behind me even told her she was out of line. I will not return to this location!"

"Love the deals they run online especially Saturday u get an extra $5 off the staff will fix whatever rings up wrong too i work in retail there friendly I love shopping here!!! .......so I had to edit my review& drop 5 star to a 1 I shopped today in family dollar as I always do to receive the deals on the coupons I clip on" there app" that they promote& want u to use nothing worse than going into a store for certain items @ certain prices some people are on a budget today my soda rang up wrong I came in specifically for the 3/$10 on the Dr pepper products they rang up at full price & some how my coupon didn't ring up so instead of the manager helping me & making sure a repeat customer that spends $100 a week in there left happy she argued w me on how I was wrong & didn't help the situation made me feel & look stupid I won't be returning there anymore I work 4 win dixie down the street & we would nev treat a customer that we knew spent a lot of money in our store like that we have good relationship w our customers who we kno come in for certain sales etc & we make sure they feel welcomed& leave happy so they'll come bak she instead of understanding& eating the $2 is what they owed me she lost $13 because I returned the sodas didn't buy them & won't be coming back so they lost 13 instead of 2 and $100 a week that I normally would spend in there weekly so she wasn't very bright poor customer service skills!!! I see all these bad reviews& there all true nobody in there speaks English so there's no helping u at all I have to show them what the brands of there products are they don't even kno what there selling I feel bad for the next shopper that's trying to just use there app & coupons I promote there store in my store send them customers not anymore! I asked 3 diff employees neither knew what I was saying when I asked for there corporate number the manager didn't even kno what it was I had to repeat myself eventually I just left horrible experience"

"On Monday July 3, 2023, on a whim, I stopped at the Family Dollar located at: 340 Cape Coral Pkwy E, Cape Coral, FL 33904, and I am very glad I did. I was greeted as I walked through the door. The floors were clear with nothing in them. The shelves appeared to be well stocked (as much as possible on a holiday weekend). I found what I was looking for, proceeded to the cash register, and was again, greeted with a friendly face. I am so grateful for [what I assume] a management change. It is just so much better than the last time that I was there. Let me explain. The last time that I was there, there were boxes all over the place. Mostly on the floor, and not neatly pushed to the side so as to be able to walk through the aisle. There were even boxes placed on shelves. There was no pride in this place. Maybe even no common sense. This was not the only time that it had been in this state. It was like this every time I visited, over the course of a couple of years. The issue that I had (and the reason I vowed to never return) were the employees on their phones. Both of them. I wanted to ask the one female, that was not behind the counter, where to locate an item. She put up her first finger (as to tell me to wait), turned away from me and continued her conversation. That was it. I just left and told myself that I would never come back. On this day, I was out and about and thought that I would give this Family Dollar another chance. I am so glad that I did. It was such a pleasant experience. Yes, I will return, again. Note to the Family Dollar regional team: While the interior is now in such better shape and the employees seem to be more involved, there is still a glaring issue that REALLY needs to be addressed. The exterior. The bushes are terribly overgrown, and weeds are growing between the sidewalk and the asphalt. This is very shoddy maintenance. The bushes on the Cape Coral Parkway side are actually blocking the sightline when trying to pull out onto the parkway. Please help the staff inside to get this back to the lovely place it was in the beginning. Monica"

"12/27/2021 The only reason I am here is because the entire staff has quit and my wife has been forced to work alone. Most of these stores are under staffed due to lack of quality pay. Many stores don't even have a store manager. Corporate has neglected the only remaining employees by making them work 7 days a week, or making them work open to close and be in their store alone. I am here to provide her some security. As I'm writing this, someone attempted to steal something.... I work 3am to 11am so this is effecting BOTH our lives.. PLEASE STOP SHOPPING HERE AT NIGHT"
