"We came for dinner on a Saturday night and were seated without a reservation very quickly. We ordered and requested water. After more than 20 minutes we had to ask again two different servers and finally got our water. We ordered the Kyoto and the Veggie Shoyu ramen. Our order took a long time but once we finally got it we enjoyed it."

"Amazing ramen, super friendly and helpful service, and warm cozy space in lovely downtown Sarasota boasting both indoor and outdoor seating. I came on a Tuesday night early December with a friend and we loved the ambiance and service. Having warm hand towels before a meal was so lovely and authentic! Fondly reminded me of my years living in Japan. Of course, we had to get Sapporo as well! We enjoyed the Takoyaki appetizer, Creamy Curry Ramen, and the Tomyummen Ramen (mild spicy lemongrass broth). Fantastic! Gorgeous presentation too! Being weak with spices, I really appreciated our waitress' recommendations and giving me a sample of the broth before ordering. Just looking at the photo again has my mouth watering! I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in town."

"Everything as amazing! The chicken wings have such a crunch I couldn’t put them down. Our server was kind, gentle, knowledgeable and took her time. We didn’t feel rushed and absolutely enjoyed each others company. It was the perfect date night or a night with friends to chill and enjoy the food and atmosphere. If we are in Sarasota again we will DEFINITELY stop by."

"Ok, so here is the dealio. They opened 5 months ago and we are foodies. The Ramen is legit and the Shirmp appetizer brillant. We will return to explore more of the menu. Fun and pretty amazing."

"Newly opened Izakaya style Japanese restaurant serving ramen, rice bowls and skewers. I grew up in Japan and worked at an izakaya as a teenager so I was so excited to find out about this place opening! In most izakayas, the skewers are cooked in the open - but with the decor, this is close to an authentic experience. We went for ramen originally but we wanted to try their skewers and apps too. The portions were small but each dish was thoughtfully crafted. The only let down for me was the ramen. It was too small of a serving and there was only 1 egg, 2 chashu (we asked for extra so there’s more in the pic), and the noodles was not much. We got the spicy miso which was rightfully spicy - we enjoyed the flavors a lot. The crunchy nori on it was sooo good. Highly recommend the okonomiyaki. Caramelized, crunchy exterior with a soft chewy center that you’re sure to crave. It’s topped with bonito flakes. Only thing missing is benishouga and green onion topping to balance the flavors. On the other hand we were able to try different things from the menu due to the smaller portions. Don’t skip the yuzu cheesecake! You won’t regret it. Personally, I don’t like the crunchy stuff on it. Looking forward to coming back for the unagidon."
