"My female Chihuahua was Never leash trained, so I bring her in a carrier. We Visit for regular nail trimmings. Lulu can tell when she's in a bad environment. That's why we come here. The technicians are always happy to see her and she doesn't stress when we enter. They care about your dogs and listen to your concerns and are truly glad for your business."
"Dr Scott Lingwall and the entire staff were absolutely wonderful. Great experience. I will both return, and recommend.."
"When I moved to Lake Wales, this was the vet I picked for my dog. I had Dr. Scott who was awesome when I went and took her for her initial visit. He was aware she was almost 15 years old said it was normal aging and sent us on our way, he did put her on kidney food to help her kidneys that were failing. Receptionist was supposed to give me a sample, now she knows it’s a dog, but I got cat food which I bought back and was not offered any dog food and my dog wouldn’t eat the $50 kibble. In late October, I bought my dog and it took three days to get it an appointment she could not walk by by the third day she was able to walk a little they did an x-ray. They read the x-ray. They showed me her intestines that had particles, and wanted to know if I knew what that could be, which I had no idea I was told she heard crackling in the dogs lungs but the x-ray didn’t show anything cost me just under $600 I was offered a pill pack for four pills cost me $16. I asked if I could have a refill for chewy and was told yes a week later chewy tells me it was denied so when I called, I was told unless I came in and approved more test on a 15-year-old dog cost starting at $600 they would not refill the pain meds. Last week I tried calling didn’t get an answer so I brought the dog in because she could not walk at all. She was having trouble breathing and she just was very lethargic. I was told the vet was out for lunch and she would not returned until 2 o’clock, which she had a 2 o’clock appointment if I wanted to sit with this dog in pain and wait for an opening I could, I decided to go ahead to the animal hospital the reception mentioned. They examined her right away. They put us in a room at this point they did a sonogram of her lungs believe it was a mass and suspected fluids. he said they could do more test he explained them, and then I asked him was my 15-year-old dog and pain and he said yes, so at this point being on fixed income I chose to euthanize my dog so she wasn’t suffering anymore. not everyone has thousands of dollars to save their pet and to be charging people and not make them aware of their pet being in pain and refusing pain meds. It’s just wrong. I don’t want another pet. My heart broke on 12/11/2023. This vet should go back to school and learn some compassion."
"Misdiagnosed my geriatric family pet with clear lungs when less than 6 weeks later Dundee ER found a large mass in her lungs that later filled with fluid. Turned away as “too busy” while dog is crying and can’t breathe. Masses that large don’t grow in 6 weeks and for a $600 x-ray this was ridiculous. Our dog suffered so much pain between the misdiagnosis and wait and sadly had to be put down. Such a heartbreaking situation and to find out it was a misdiagnosis and being treated poorly in an emergency is just unforgivable."
"Losing our dog is never a happy moment but it made it extremely frustrating hearing the staff in the lobby laughing and being very loud while my family is saying their goodbyes to our little angel. Also I’m not sure if this is law but having to pay for the treatment at the very moment our dog takes it last breath with him in the room seems very cold I wish we could have got billed the next day or something. I’m not sure if that’s allowed but it just seemed very money driven. The doctors are great it just was a bad experience over all and the small details could have helped."
