Publix Super Market at Belmont Shopping Center

"I go to this Publix for specialty items only! Publix is "proud" of their food ... these prices are insane! Majority of these items I can buy at Walmart or Winn Dixie for a fraction of the price. We used to get their subs quite frequently, but 90% of the time I order online, the sandwich is not right ... and its too expensive to continuously get it wrong. Service is good ... but it's similar at other stores. Last night, they ran out of Cuban bread ($3.59 per 1 loaf), but they offered to sell me one from the back that they use for sandwiches ... at double the price! Seriously?"

"The employees that work in the area where they do the pubs and serve the hot meals they need to be re-trained. Lack of customer service skills, not friendly and they look like they hate their job. I don’t know what is going on in that department but every time I visit is the same experience. I love the pubs but the ladies are kind of mean."

"This Publix has the worst deli. Every time I place an order online, there's an issue. Today I place an order at 6:00 for a buffalo chicken sub and it says my pickup is 6:30. I get to the store and nothing is in the pickup area. I'm waiting in line to talk to somebody then they tell me oh we're out of chicken tenders. So I said I put an order in at 6:00 so why wasn't it made? If you just ran out of chicken tenders. Then I was told oh they were trying to call you but nobody ever called me. They are just really busy in the back. Terrible customer service. Every time I go here the customer service and the deli is terrible."

"As usual, this grocery chain has great products. My biggest gripe is that this store is always crowded, especially at lunch. Additionally, there are enough deli workers during peak hours to help out at the hot bar. The cajun catfish is very tasty with Key Lime fish covering, which is available at the store as well. I enjoy this store."

"Publix Belmont is a family atmosphere when you visit the store. The employees are amicable and willing to assist. I go there 3-4 times a week. The produce and sandwich areas are good. The vegetables are fresh and have a good variety. The sandwiches, especially the Italian are superb. They use quality meat for the sandwiches- Boar’s Head. The meat area can be improved in their selection and options. This is the most neglected from the store. Their BOGO is a way to save money. So why a 3???? Publix is premium priced. There merchandise is highly priced versus other supermarkets and farmer markets in the area."
