"Each store is layed out differently, looking all over for the same product at different stores. Really setup differently. But a good experience except for that."
"Easy FedEx drop off. Scanned label and received the receipt via text message"
"I'm a type 1 diabetic. I needed insulin needles really bad. I waited for the pharmacy to open. They told me that they wouldn't sell me insulin syringes unless I had the insulin with me or showed proof of diabetes. If that's Walgreens policy then that needs to be displayed to the public. So my sugar is sky high and these A holes won't sell me insulin needles. Walgreens is garbage. Go to Walmart. They don't discriminate."
"The pharmacy techs are rude and useless. The only person working in the pharmacy is the pharmacist himself. I had to go to an emergency care for tonsillitis. The doctor at the emergency care called in the prescription order (2 prescriptions, 1 steroid, 1 antibiotic). They were able to fill the steroid without issue and quite fast. However, when I mentioned I had 2 prescriptions the pharm tech looked at me and said “we only got an order for one”. Since I had just come from the emergency care I had the paperwork listing 2 prescriptions. I showed her the order and she goes “well maybe they haven’t called the other one in yet, go home and we will call you when it does.” Why would they call in one and not the other? Why would the pharmacist tech send a patient home without all the medication they need, as listed on the doctors order? I asked to speak to the pharmacist and explained the situation and showed him the order. At that point, he stopped what he was doing and called emergency care himself to get the order to get me my meds. If I had gone home as the tech instructed, I would have never gotten my meds. Like I said, the issue at this pharmacy is not the pharmacist, but his team of rude and incompetent techs."
"The people working there are usually very kind and helpful. However, recently, I have had 2 unpleasant encounters with the pharmacy tech who has the catdog tattoo on her wrist. about a month ago i went to this Walgreens to get my COVID vaccine. For my first shot, i walked in with no appointment, waited a few minutes, but was in and out, no problem. When i went for my second shot (3 weeks later) i figured i could walk in again. When i went up to the pharmacy counter the girl looked at me and said there had been a change in policy and i had to go home and go online to schedule my second shot. I understand companies change policy so i went out to my car, pulled up the website and they had an opening for the exact time i was there. In fact, they didn't have another appointment scheduled for 45mins. So, i put my name in online, walked back in, was told to wait. While i was waiting, another person walked in for the shot who also did not have an appointment. Another tech check her in with no appointment and no problem. Why did i have to leave and make an appointment but this other customer didn't? To me, it seemed like Catdog was being a bit lazy. The second issue i have had with the Catdog tech in the pharmacy is related to money. My 5yo daughter had an eye infection so her doctor called in a prescription. When i went to pick the prescription up, the tech told me i had no insurance on file and had to pay the full cost. Since it was my daughters eye, i went ahead and paid the cost so she would be able to start the medicine right away. After i left, i called my insurance company to see what the deal was. They informed me that Walgreens had my insurance info (in fact, it had been used a few weeks before to fill her inhaler prescription). I called Walgreens and told them what my insurance said and when they looked her up, the info was right there. Apparently there were 2 files that needed to be merged but both had her insurance information. At that point i requested a refund because with her insurance the price was $5, but i paid over $20. It took 3 days and 2 phone calls to get my refund. All of this could have been avoided if Catdog had been a little less lazy."
