"I called underwater to ask about a service spoke to Tim he said their service is every two weeks not once a month like it should usually be. I agreed since I needed a service I figure I use them for a little till I found another company. A guy name Steve came by clean only the glass and tested the water ...he said everything test good charge me $85 for 40 mins. We scheduled in two weeks. 3 days, after my first service my 150 gallon fish tank had this green and red all over the glass my husband cleaned it and 3 days later again same thing. When Steve showed up for the second service I told him about that he said it's from the glass patio doors that the sun hitting the tank!!!???!!! I told him it's been there 5 years and I never had my tank like that. He clean it again change the water and left. Two/3 days later my fish's start dying.....and again this red green all over the glass.. On The third visit Steve was rude and said he's running late and can't stay long!! Ok u here to clean it no? He was in a rush to leave was rude and after less then an hour left...... Of course I wasn't happy but I figure he's having a bad day or something so I let it slide. After two weeks I haven't heard anything I called Tim he was super super rude!!!! And not to mention that the last visit when he was in a rush he didn't put the filter correct we heard loud noises when we looked we saw the filter half way out and salt everywhere!! Save your money and find better company. Do not use them they are definitely the worse"
"I am posting this review, not to stop you from doing business with this company, but as a review for the company itself, so they can improve their tank maintenance business. I had many of my creatures die under their care, I feel that they do not do a thorough job cleaning the tank, I hired another gentleman to take their place, and already he noticed that the tank salinity (how much salt concentration the water has) was way to low, and the sand was really nasty, and unkempt, he cleaned the tank yesterday, and spent over an hour on it, when the other guy would come and spend 15 minutes tops. Don't get me wrong, these guys are very friendly, and this is why they get 2 stars instead of 1. One time when he came, I had a $35 blood shrimp that I had for a good year, the day after he worked on the tank, magically the blood shrimp is dead, and recently, I had a blue bird wrasse, 2 clowns, a sail fin tang, and a purple and yellow fish which I cannot remember the name, but the price was about $35, well, after he came last, ALL of them died, save 1 clown fish. I feel that if I'm paying good money for my tank to be cared for professionally, I should not have this kind of loss... The worst part about this whole deal though, the reason I decided to tell the world my experience, was I trusted them with a Coral called a "trumpet" while I did a new tank, I paid them good money for the tank, water, service, rocks, etc. My coral was well developed, I had it for many years, and had survived many different tanks that I have had it in, it was huge and had 30-40 heads approximately, and if you know corals, each head is its own animal, and some can die, while others survive. This coral is worth at leas 5-6 dollars a head in any retail store, do the math - this coral is worth AT LEAST $150. Apparently, one week before I cancelled the service, my entire coral died, and I was not made aware of this, when I cancelled the service, I asked they return my coral and I would take my chances on it, instead I was brought a candy cane with only 12 heads, worth about 30-50 depending on the store. I asked where my coral was, and only then was I told that my coral had died. The owner had nothing more to offer me except for "sorry." Again, I am a business owner, and I know that no business is perfect, but I feel like this particular service I received was very far from perfect, and I wanted to tell my story. Give underwater treasurez a chance, but just be aware of my situation."
