"I actually don’t know how well they are as groomers. Never got past the initial inquisition by the groomer. Although my dog had all her shots and had been to the vet recently, I never got past the medical questions. My dog was given a clean bill of health by her vet but apparently that is not good enough for Petco. It was a terrible experience and I will never call them again. Only used them because we were going away and unable to get an appointment with her regular groomer."
"Made an appointment for my dog to get groomed for today at 4:30. My husband took our dog in at 4, nobody in the groomer area. He walked around waiting, finally 430 rolled around and still nobody. He called them, no answer. Finally it's 5 o clock and someone from Petco paged the groomer and she comes out and says "the lady who was supposed to groom your dog called in sick, we tried to call you" there is absolutely no phone calls from them whatsoever on our phone. So all in all an hour wasted for nothing. Don't come here if you're not prepared to wait around for an hour just to be turned away. We will never be coming back again. Not sure why I was stupid enough to think Petco would actually be professional to begin with."
