"We found out the monkey passed away which I’m sure is now in a better place than Monkey Shack. There isn’t anything better or different here than any other beachfront store in PCB. (Unless you’re looking for a t-shirt that reads “I heart Sl*ts”.) The claustrophobic store has a few caged parrots of various types with patches of missing feathers around their necks, which can be a sign the birds are stressed or depressed. The owners would do themselves and the birds a favor by handing them over to an animal rescue organization. I’d keep driving past the Monkey Shack and Monkey licks unless you’d like to rescue some birds."

"This place is cool and different than every other surf shop/ novelty shop in Panama City Beach! Cool live animals! One of the birds was very chivalrous! You can get your ears pierced here or get other piercings and tattoos next door. If you're nostalgic about old PCB, go here! Great shirts and shorts and fun jewelry!"
