"Cortni and Colleen were a wonderful collaborative team in helping me with my 3 month old puppy who was already exhibiting signs of guarding(!!). They helped give me the tools to get ahead of the problem and establish better communication between me and my puppy. As a previous dog owner I felt very defeated when I first reached out to Kane-9, wishing I could handle my current situation myself, but soon realized it was the very best decision. Worth every penny. 10/10 recommend. you’ll never regret investing in your own happiness. Happy dog, happy owner!"
"Cortini is the best. Very patient, soft spoken, professional and overall a wonderful trainer! I now take my little "Mollie" everywhere with me. Cortini always went over training methods with me after each session and provided videos during her training for my review. She keeps you informed, and goes out of her way to make sure you are satisfied with her services. She has EXCEEDED all of my expectations. Simply stated, she is exceptional in every phase of training! I would definitely recommend her to anyone that has a pet needing training."
"If you are looking for a professional, knowledgeable, trainer who knows their “stuff”, look no further! KC was 2 yrs old and been in a foster home for 2 weeks when I adopted her last year. I was unprepared for the types of behavior a rescue can exhibit. She had separation anxiety, no leash experience, hated crates, and dog aggression to name a few. Before coming to Orange Beach, AL, we worked for 8 weeks with a (more costly) professional trainer. Minimal leash and recall behavior was accomplished, no dog/human interaction was explained, and no work was done on any of the other behaviors. The first time I walked KC around the Orange Beach complex she was pulling on the leash and out of control when we met another dog. Both KC and I were hitting a wall and the frustration just made it worse. I contacted Colleen, we talked for 30 minutes, she asked all the right questions and gave me hope all was not lost. At the first training session, Colleen observed KC’s reaction to a strange dog and how we interacted. She knew exactly what was needed to start KC and I on the road to becoming partners. Colleen’s style of training with KC was to work with her for an hour alone. When I returned, she demonstrated what KC had learned, and then observed me working with KC where my habits were revealed. Colleen explain the how and why my behavior and feelings were vital to KC and my success. She would make sure everything made sense before moving on. Every week, we looked forward to learning how to improve and new skills. An added bonus, my husband (a hunter) was convinced he could train our one year old golden retriever. He was so impressed with the progress KC and I were making every week, he decided to take Morgan to training with Colleen. For our last lesson, Collen came to our location and we walked the trails together. We were able to show her in the “real world” what we have learned. By doing this, Colleen was able to fine tune our behavior and give us confidence to keep working. Every morning we now enjoy walking the Back Country Trails with our fur partners. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain call KANE-9 Pet Supplies and Training."
"Colleen and Cortni are fantastic people and even greater professionals. From the start, just one phone call to gather information, they informed me and answered every question I had without trying to sell their services. When I decided to go with them as my puppy dogs trainers, they sat me down and asked me all kinds of questions to make me feel welcomed, safe and overall to get a better picture of my puppies. My Rottweiler/lab mix and Australian Shepherd fell in love with the training, trainers and facilities since the very first day. Not only a huge difference in how they carried themselves on day 1, but they were incredible happy and excited to come. Every week they learned new commands, but they were excited to learn and perform them. Not only did Colleen and Cortni educated me every training session, but they made it where I was integrated and it was really fun and informative. My boys went from being difficult to walk on day one, to walking them without a leash and feeling safe and confident in their training. I would recommend them to people who are serious about having their dogs trained and that want to be involved in the process. Thank you both for the amazing experience!!"
"In my experience with Colleen, she trained my dog with me. She always made me comfortable and made sure that I understood everything my dog absolutely loved her and would wait for her every day on training Day by the window. Also. Months later, after the training is over she answers all of my calls and texts, and helps me with questions that I have. I am so happy that she was the trainer for my dog."
