"One upon a time, this was one of the “it” places in South Beach, but those days have passed. The Chinese-American food here is still quite good, albeit definitely a bit overpriced given how much you have to order to make up for the relatively small portion sizes. The service team makes sure everyone has a good time, including the occasional live pulled noodle display. It’s the atmosphere here that’s starting to feel quite tired. A revamped space and menu would do wonders to bring Mr Chow back to its original glory, but it’s still a fun night out nevertheless."
"Always an amazing time and meal at Mr. Chow. Dinning is an experience, from the greeting when you walk to your table, the perfect pour of the champagne and each dish cooked to delight. A true luxe experience, is it spendy yes, is it worth it, yes. Faves, all drinks are made to perfection - chicken satay is to die for, fluffy flavorful rice, prawn and walnuts perfection, do not miss the steamed sea bass it is THEEE best - no one prepares it this well. Bok choy and steamed veggies ideal compliments. Dessert lychee, refreshing and light. Tons of great choices on the menu."
"Great service. The staff is very attentive. The food is flavorful. I was a little disappointed in the food the waiter suggested for us. Because it was our first time there, we had the servers help us pick our dishes. After it came out, we figured they chose what was least costly for the restaurant to serve. At least the restaurant trained them well. We should have ordered the hand pulled noodles. It looked fabulous as they were making it for another table. Their coconut cream cake is amazing!!! The food and drinks here are pretty pricey for what it is."
