"I’ve seen Sarah Ford in the past with subpar results. Was willing to try again as my insurance is accepted but still I have a high copay. She spent maybe 1 minute with me and was annoyed that I asked questions. Everything I read about my foot pain says to work with a PT who will show you how to do exercises daily at home (this never happened). I had to push to ask about exercises and she handed me some print outs on my way out, but only because I ASKED! Basically I paid for the TENS and ultrasound treatment. With ZERO support or guidance on what I should do for self care. I left in more pain than when I arrived. Did ZERO exercises or anything. Was dismissed without a word on if I should return. I’m in so much pain and crying daily. I hope you read these reviews Sarah Ford. You should be ashamed of yourself!"
"Sarah Ford was one of the worst medical experiences I’ve had. Upon my first visit, Sarah Ford spent less than one minute with me to figure out my issues and treatment plan. After being pushed off to the assistant (who was very nice) she told me I was done for the day. Upon check out, she printed off some papers, didn’t explain anything to me and said “see you next week”. I pressed and asked her what was going on, what the next steps were, what the x-Ray said, and she “assessed” that I had “shoulder issues” and wrote down “rotator cuff” on my paperwork. She said to “come back, if that doesn’t work, we will give you a shot, if that doesn’t work, it’s surgery.” Sarah Ford didn’t care at all to see what was actually going on, or how to help me. It was shameful and disappointing. I later went to a doctor and she said found that I had no rotator cuff issues. Do not go to her if you care about getting better."
"I was referred to Dr. Ford from my primary after falling on a flight of stairs. So far I've been to three appointments for about an hour each time and have seen Dr. Ford for approximately 20 seconds total. First appointment, she asked what my range of motion was for my right arm/shoulder, then said she would be right back. I have not seen her since. I have however been working with a wonderful tech (I guess he would be called) named Brian. Super supportive and super supportive. If you go to this place for Dr. Ford, hopefully you'll be helped by Brian. The second time I went, I checked the receipt I got and the initial "consult" was $700.00. At that much, I would have expected more than 20 seconds. She also doesn't have much of a bedside manner - just do this and do that and okay bye. Pretty disappointed in her, but happy with the tech that has been helping me."
"Sarah Ford is a terrible person, she doesn't care about the patient, very rude person, unprofessional, beware of this place. I had to stop going to this "TERAPHY" I felt worse and worse every session. When I complained I was in pain they sent you home. Also they charged an obscene amount of money to my insurance for a heating pad and 3 exercises. No Thank you"
"Agree 100% with the other reviewer - the physical therapist is hardly involved in your treatment. Even the techs come and go, losing site of ensuring proper form. They don't ask how your last treatment went (if you felt relief, if you were up all night in tears because you were in so much pain). I have been to physical therapy for various sport related issues over the past 16 years in my highly skilled university-centered hometown and was astonished by the lack of knowledge in the office. They are very old-school, text-book oriented and don't adapt or adjust to your unique needs. Dr. Sarah Ford was never polite, though the other two staff were very friendly. I knew my body best and kept pleading for soft tissue manipulation to release my hip flexors and groin, etc. The one time she succumbed she about sent me through the roof with how aggressive she was. They give you exercises and stretches, which are great, but I can continue to do those at home, and without oversight, at the office, what's the point? I understand fully that PT takes time, but this was 6 weeks of no progress and $$ down the drain for me. I was back in my hometown for a week and went to one PT session and had immediate relief solely with the soft tissue work o had been requesting - if only they were willing to try."
