"I’m a local and I had to kill some time at the mall while my car was getting serviced nearby so I decided to stop here for lunch because I wanted to sit down and relax. I had to wait a little bit to get seated as there were people ahead of me but it wasn’t too long of a wait. At fish glance the decor is very cute and quirky and very on theme for Catrina. Chips and salsa were brought out almost immediately. Salsa is very good, tangy and not spicy at all. I ordered guacamole as a starter and it was very creamy and had good flavor. Nothing was spicy yet it had those Mexican flavors we all look for and love. For my main I ordered the barbacoa tacos. They were delicious. Lots of meat and very moist, the morita sauce was amazing. I ordered the hibiscus mezcalita and that was very good too and packed a good punch, I even had to order a hibiscus agua fresca to cut it down. Although The agua Fresca (hibiscus) tasted like the powdered mix I get from the store. All in all it was a good meal and I’ll definitely rerun again. The margarita shot was super strong too."

"Paula was a great server, with a big smile and a friendly personality. We did not have to wait to be seated. The food was good, for me it needed more salt. All and all a good restaurant with a great atmosphere and very good service."

"This place is so amazing!!! I always passed by it when I came to the Florida mall and wanted to try it, but today we finally did, and I’m so glad that we did! I ordered the lime margarita and usually Mexican restaurants often skim on the tequila, and I get very disappointed, but this margarita was the best! I feel good after just one, lol… And the food is absolutely amazing! The kids were super excited that they can make their own tacos And I chose the Carne Asada tacos that were awesome and they came with five! I would definitely recommend."

"Excellent opportunity to visit the mall and enjoy some food. I had not planned on visiting the restaurant but the aroma mesmerizing effects hypnotized me into going straight there. I am so happy I did and can’t wait to go back with more time. I had to hit the road so was not able to partake in the margaritas. The chips were light and tasty. The carnitas tacos were next level. They had such a softness texture and juicy flavor that it melted in my mouth. The juice that exploded with flavor after every bite kept me eating even after I was full. I was able to have one taco leftover and it was just as delicious the next day for lunch. Most definitely will visit again soon. Universal Horror Nights is around the corner so that trip will be made soon!"
