"This is my dad and I’s second time coming, but my mom’s first time and the food was delicious. Our server was Fernando and he was very friendly. Accustomed to our wants, such as my mom’s taste for root beer or pibb, red sauce or green, etc. He checked on us frequently and answered any question we had. For appetizers , we got beef empanadas. For dinner, I got zócalos shredded chicken burrito, my dad got eggplant chile relleno, and my mom got enchiladas but half green and half red sauce to see which she liked more. Lastly, we got Churros for dessert that came with your choice of vanilla or chocolate ice cream and the churros were soft, creamy, and the ice cream was the “cherry on top.” I definitely recommend coming here and hope you get Fernando!"

"Negative Stars. Absolute WORST meal EVER!!. I ordered pick up and picked it up myself. Carnitas tacos are all burnt strands, salsa is literally tomato soup, no flavor what so ever. Wow! Waste of $40. Used to have great food -"

"Went here our last night in the area and so glad we did. Downtown Sanford is cute and was quite lively for a Sunday night. El Zocalo hit the spot. The food arrived quickly, presentation was sharp, and the meals were very tasty. So was the goblet-sized house margarita. Finished the meal with the churros- yum! Highly recommend."

"Amazing service! David was great, just the right amount of attention and space to enjoy food & drinks! Food was good just needed more seasoning. Dessert - WOW! Best churros around! Perfectly cooked! And that was perfectly seasoned! Only real complaint was music was too loud for conversation but David got that turned down so we could hear each other. Harpist was very good and had a lovely voice. Will definitely come again."

"Had a really great time here. The food & the service were amazing. There is a very small restaurant area, a lounge AND a bar. So, you have options depending on your mood. The music was also really good."
