"BASS Is a great place for children with autism to get the help/therapy needed to be productive and successful in their ability to communicate effectively, rather it's non-verbal or verbal."
"Working at BASS provided me with the resources and support to start my career journey, the kids here have made great strides and the RBTs are very passionate about the well-being and positive development of their clients."
"Absolute garbage. My son started speech therapy there recently. After 2 sessions, the speech therapist left. The only one. The speech supervisor said she would normally take over, but she was also leaving. You cannot have confidence in a company when all their employees are leaving. For the employees that were there with the autistic children-they were awful. They were impatient and unkind with these poor children. No one should use this place for therapy of any kind."
"We received ABA services from BASS for 5 years until we moved states, from the ages of 5-10 for my son. Losing this service terrified me, but they did amazing things for my son and helped him become the kid he is. They helped him grow, taught us best how to deal with behaviors and handle them, better communicate, move past and adjust to some of the rigidity, etc. They worked with my son at his level and implemented everything in a play format, so it didn’t feel like “work.” Don’t get me wrong, he had his struggles, but they worked through them with him and with us to figure out what worked best for him. Most of our sessions took place in clinic, but when needed, we had home sessions. They also accompanied us to IEP meetings and helped when issues arose at school. They set my gold standard in what to look for in services. They provided us information on community events and services available to the special needs community, as well as information on grants and funding available for other therapies. I can’t say enough good things about BASS as they fundamentally changed our lives for the better."
"This was a couple years back. The behavior techs didn't seem to know much about autism. My kid didn't stay with the same therapist. Asked if many times if they offered in home and no word back. No one is there to take calls if you call running late or have to cancel. My kid ended up getting being kicked out for getting sick too often and not making progress. My kid did seem to enjoy going there though and this is the only reason I giving a star."
