"Terrible office! Never answer their phone. The office staff is rude and condescending. Often rolling their eyes when you ask them questions. Will never go again."
"I have seen two different pain management doctors over the past three years with horrible, horrible results. My first visit Dr.Ederer was today. From the moment he walked in the room, I felt at ease. He asked questions and performed procedures the other doctors never did. He immediately identified a possible cervical issue by testing my reflexes. His practice does not take my insurance so I am self-pay. Seeing Dr. Ederer cost me twice what my co-pay was with the previous pain management practices. However, I would pay 20 times the amount to have a real doctor, like Dr. Ederer, diagnose and treat me. This is unlike any pain management doctor experience I’ve ever had. He treats his patients as he would want to be treated. He and his staff are amazing."
"Dr ederor looked at my medicine and the fact what medicine I was prescribed and what type. Saying they(Dr's) must have been investigated.very unprofessional.yet a man I know had Endo twice from abusing medicine and he was writing him four times the amount of medicine. That why you left Springhill medical? You act like you weren't doing that yourself. I am a real chronic pain patient not an addict and was treated as one. Staff and wife are friendly. Find a better Dr. Jason says hello!"
"I started there about a year ago. I explained my situation to Dr. Ederer and his wife. I wanted to make sure they knew what they were getting into and if I could be treated there. It was a lot closer than my other PM doctor and he had great reviews. I was told that it would not treat all of my back. Two areas were workers comp due to an injury and one was a new area that would be under Medicare. I was assured that all was well and, as with most doctors they set a special price and get with the hospital to set up a special price for self-pay. I was different than all the others and not complicated with the self-pay. Of course he accepted Medicare so that wasn't a problem. They first time he was in the room the entire visit and they both understood and were willing to take me on. They listened to my questions and put in their ideas for a treatment plan. The first thing I was going to get done was my neck. Since I had never had any images or anything done he wanted to do that first. I thought that was great. When the results came back and said he had bad news. I have spinal stenosis and at my age I should be in the very beginning of it but I am in the final stage. It is an RF until it doesn't work any longer and then my next step would be surgery. We were going to do the RF's because I don't want a fusion. The first procedure (I was forced to take a COVID test against my will) just for the procedure. I was told at the last minute though. He did the RF and I didn't feel a thing and the nurses were great. My drink was ready for me when I was conscience (they didn't rush me and shake me rudely). I was able to drink the first one and get another. I suffer from dehydration, excessive dry mouth and eyes. I needed the fluids. When I was ready I was helped and taken to the car and helped in. It was a great experience. I had never had that before. The next was was totally different. He really hurt me. I could feel every stick and burn in my lower back. Both sides could have been done at the same time but he wouldn't (more money that way). They never helped with the hospital either. Phil and I had to work and beg to see anyone to help with this. Every time I went he would see me less and less. At one point they tried to turn me over to a NP. I was livid. The receptionists, by the way are very rude. Never smile. Won't even pick up the phones sometimes. You leave a message and they don't return your call. I called to set up an RF on my mid back and they refused. They called back and said the Dr. refused to do it. The area where the injury was he refused to treat. The last time and the time before he only came in long enough to give the injections and could only do it with his wife's help. She did all the work and would have done the injections had she had a MD after her name. I don't know what she was. They missed one big area that I kept showing them that I needed injections. actually I showed them everywhere. By the last time I came in he was the worst he had ever been. He had to be shown every area by her. The last RF was the most painful of all. I felt every stick and burn. I am surprised I didn't pass out it hurt so bad. On top of it I had a new nursing staff that were unfriendly and some rude. Then to top it off I ask him a question and get my head bit off by him in front of everyone. That hospital is the only one in the area that requires the stupid COVID test and I had surgeries and procedures other places. I am glad I never have to see him again because I don't feel he is competent anymore. His wife does all the work. She even got lax and not as friendly at the end. I don't know how many billing errors I had because of this. I would call the office and the staff would tell me they don't do that and it was out of their hands. I hope they only handle simple things for people. Oh, one other thing. I called in for an emergency and was I had to wait two months to see him. Nothing I could use 911 for either. Shows how much they care. Notta."
"Dr.Ederer, his wife and the rest of his team are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. After 10 years of pain I was referred to consult with Dr.Ederer and he was so understanding and thorough with his explanations of my scan results and the treatment he recommended for me. I would recommend coastal anesthesia to anyone as the care I receive when I’m there is second to none. They actually care and are so lovely to not only myself, but to my husband and our two young children too."
