"I’ve been 2.5 years with Dr Friefeld and I am very happy! Wonderful, knowledgeable doctor, very attentive, very experienced. The front desc girls and nurses in the office are all very nice, helpful and polite The waiting time always very reasonable I never waited longer than 20-25 min which I think great for any medical office especially in Miami. I personally 100 % recommend this doctor and this office."

"I came in as an emergency, I've had a history of miscarriage so I was a really nervous that I was spotting that day. When I called, the receptionist told me I couldn't be seen until next week which confused me as I explained to her I had miscarriage history so I needed to be seen as it was an emergency. I felt like I had to beg for an appointment. She ended up appointing me. I got there and I waited a bit which I expected. Finally saw the Dr about 30 mins after my vitals were taken but when he came in, he did not explain to me if my baby's heart beat was strong, just told me he saw a heartbeat which I'm thankful for. I still left with a lot of questions . It felt a bit rushed, my check out was faster than my check in and Dr/patient time. Dr.F is a nice doctor I just wish he wasn't so quick to get me out. Tried to get my notes from my visit but there's literally nothing in my chart. Not even documenting I'm even pregnant. My family goes here and I was referred by them but idk, I might have to find another office."

"I have been seeing dr. Friefeld since I was 16 yrs old. He has helped me through cancer, the pregnancy and complicated birth of my son, postpartum thyroid psi’s, and now menopause. He is a wonderful man who tell to honestly what is wrong. He gives you the hard truth as politely but honestly as he can. Some people don’t like that, but he tells you what you NEED to know for your own safety and health you you and your child. He is a caring man. Who has called me and followed up with me several times just because he wanted to make sure I was ok. I will stay with this Doctor u til he retires. Then I will cringe at the terrible prospect of finding someone to meet his standards. If people have him a one star it is because they have no patience or understanding of medical laws, rules and regs. The midwife and doctor could be called to a hospital even while your In The waiting room, I mean, he delivers babies for heavens sake. Babies wait for no one, he has to drop what he’s doing and go which means your appointment they may be rescheduled, you may have driven over there for nothing. This is what happens when you see a small practice OBGYN. One that has a large clientele because he is good people, really good . As far as the office staff goes, they follow what your insurance covers what their insurance notifies them of sometimes their portals give different information than what you know to be true I’ve had this happen at other offices never at his. But that is not the fault of the office. That is just the information that they’re getting online and nothing can be done about that. If you do not like him telling you what you need to hear about your house in the health, didn’t have you give birth to aNother healthy life. Then don’t go to him he’s going to guide you where you need to go to have a successful birth into remain healthy. I have been seeing this man for 29 years. And I’m not about to stop now because I know how great he is. He has saved my life, my child’s life. And constantly helps me try to improve my quality of life as I go through the trials and tribulations of womanhood."

"I had a very bad experience here. My appointment was for Dr. Campbell. No one told me that she was not there until I got in the room. I drove from down south to NMB for this appointment. I would have rescheduled my appointment if I'd known. But, since I was there and drove over an hour and a half in traffic, I decided to stay and see Dr. Friefeld. At first glance, I was turned off because he has some skin condition on his arms that can be seen clearly. Secondly, he did not have a female assistant in the room when he examined me. Thirdly, he touched me without gloves to look at my stomach and for my surgery scar. I was so uncomfortable. Fourthly, I went in for an ultrasound and he decided to do a pap smear first. Why? I had one earlier this year. Then he stuck his two fingers inside me and started moving around (gloves on). I felt violated! I did not like it at all. Then, he did an ultrasound. After he examined me, he said he wanted to put me on medication to make me bleed regularly. I told him I did not want medication. I asked for an herb or tea that I could use instead. I also asked could it be that I'm going through menopause. He said he didn't know. Again, I told him that I didn't want pills. He then said to me he needed to do blood work. He also said he couldn't see if I had fibroids due to my weight. This was a complete shock and insult to me. After which, he told me to come back on Tuesday to see the guy who does sonograms in the office. I politely said ok, but knew I would not be back. He left out the room and I put my dress back on. The receptionist at the front desk said for me to do blood work it would be an additional $15 on top of the $35 I paid for the office visit. I told her I would do it at another time. I left the office and immediately started crying. I have never felt so violated in my life. I called my boyfriend once I got in the car and told him I was never going back to that place. He asked why I was crying I told him and he was very upset. This was indeed the worst experience I ever had a doctor's office. The only reason I gave this doctor one star is because there isn't an option for zero stars."
