Reviews of Women to Women OB GYN Care
"Definitely recommend my OB-GYN., Dr. Grey, in a nutshell she is super nice, she’s been my doctor for sometime now and I will not change her for anything! Oh and Janelle at Woman to Woman (Dr. Grey’s) office is amazing! She is at the front desk., she is friendly, professional, knowledgeable and has the best customer service skills on the phone and face to face. I called Dr. Grey’s office for help with a yeast infection and Janelle did not hesitate to assist me precipitately to solve my issue. Janelle is an asset to Woman to Woman., I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her in a second. “Thank you Janelle for the amazing service you provided me with.”"
"I wish I knew then what I know now- I would have taken these doctors to court. I was a patient of Dr. Gray. But was delivered by Dr. M as Dr. Gray scheduled for vacation on my due date( unbeknownst to me at the time. No one mentioned that Dr. M does not allow pain medication, other than an epidural so imagine my surprise when I was induced and requested pain medication only to be told no, I can only get an epidural. This was my first delivery. It was complete horror. I was induced with cytotec- one of the side effects of this drug is hyper contraction of the uterus- this happened to me and I had to be given medication to slow down the contractions as they were causing my baby to go into distress. That was at 3 AM. I was exhausted and in and out from the epidural. I was asked to lay in one position as otherwise baby went into distress. I stayed in one position from 3:30 AM to 8:45AM. Dr. M showed up , at 8:45 and said I needed an emergency C section. While we waited for her one OR staff whispered, why did they have this patient wanting over 5 hrs before calling for emergency c section. I felt defeated to say the least. My baby was delivered and she looked “healthy”. Dr .M - trashy doctor that she is - came by the night of my delivery - the night! I delivered my baby at 9am , this doctor came by at 9pm , I was in the bathroom- she did not wait- and LEFT. My OB- Dr. Gray didn’t it come to visit me until 48 hrs post delivery..her excuse? Dr. M told her I was fine, she doesn’t need to visit. 9 months later . I was sent an invoice for $5000, stating my insurance didn’t cover cost of delivery. I did some investigation- the office lost their contract with my insurance ( I was 6 Mom’s this pregnant when this happened) and didn’t notify me. The had to write that charge off for their error. Unfortunately I did not do enough to hold Dr. M accountable for her negligence during my delivery and Florida Law absolves OB have wrong doing if grievance isnt brought before a court prior to 15 months after issue. I went on to Dr. Skeete for my subsequent pregnancies- better experiences but the damage from this practice cannot be fixed."
"I have already written a review about Dr Grey ( below) about my treatment at her office and dealings with her during my first pregnancy, and now during my second pregnancy at a different doctor of course, I feel obligated to write another review. Dealing with a different doctor and practice during my second pregnancy now has just really emphasize the point of how horrible Woman to Woman Obgyn truly is. Please go anywhere else if you are pregnant and want to be treated with respect and compassion. Here is my last review after my first pregnancy at this practice: I know a lot of people on here have given the service received by Dr Gray a one star for wait time, but that's not my issue. Although wait time was ridiculous - mostly nothing short of 2 hours. My issue is the care she gives patients. I was seeing her as a first time mom to be from 20 weeks pregnant and up until I was 41 weeks pregnant I saw her 3 times and the other times various other nurses. Still fine. I completely understand. But at my last appointment at 41 weeks pregnant and overdue she scheduled an induction for the following day. After my visit as I was still in the parking lot the receptionist phoned saying my health insurance was declined. I specifically had this health insurance to see Dr Gray and had another far better insurance to cover the hospital which was out of network for Dr Gray. After hours on the phone with the health insurance and personel at Woman to Woman OBGYN it seemed my insurance was somehow cancelled even as I had proof of payment for that month. Major stress and disaster! I begged the staff to ask Dr Gray to provide me with a referral to get an induction at my hospital to give birth. I was told over and over that " I am no longer a patient of Dr Gray and she will not talk to me or get involved as she will not be getting paid for this" I begged and cried and felt that maybe the stress of this would put me in labor, it didn't. I needed medical intervention in the form of an induction to make sure that me and my baby would be safe and healthy. This seemed like a medical emergency to me- as going to far over your due date can be very harmful to the baby and yourself. Dr Gray and her staff simply refused to help me to get a referral to the hospital ( which would be covered by my other health insurance). As a scared new mom to be I didn't know how any of this worked and was simply begging them to tell me if I can go to the hospital and they would preform the induction. Dr Gray and her staff blatantly refused any help, once again staying " you are no longer her patient and as she will not be getting paid she will not talk to you or offer advice." How the heck can anyone , especially your medical practitioner do this to you? I simply needed to know if I could just go to the hospital and ask for an induction without a Dr . I didn't want anything else from her besides an answer to this. Mind you at 41 weeks pregnant I have been sitting in the waiting room since 9:30 am and at this point it was already past 3pm!!!!! I felt such fear for the safety of my baby and what to do next I could not stop crying. And at that point a staff member came to me and simply said " you should stop crying it's not good for the baby" making me lose my mind even more as they are putting me in this situation!!!!!!!! Eventually I whent to the hospital and the utter friendly concerned staff told me to immediately go to the emergency room where they would preform the induction immediately as this constitutes a medical emergency as the baby could be in danger as I am far past overdue. Thankfully everything ended well after 21 hours of labour after the emotional trauma uncured by Dr Gray. And for these reasons be ware that there is no humanity only capitalistic greed at this place. And for this reason I am also in the process of placing a claim at the Florida health department for medical malpractice against Dr Gray. Please find somewhere to go that has compassion and actually cares about their patients. Especially if you are a first time mom."
"Terrible experience! I arrived 10 min prior my appointment time to complete all forms as requested. The lady at the front desk was unfriendly and feeling like I was bothering, this is already not a good sign when you are a new client and even more at a gynecologist medical center. Going to the gynecologist can be unpleasant and stressfull and I beleive friendly staff is very important for this type of establishment. After waiting for one hour, I asked if it was almost my turn to see the doctor as I had to go back to work. The lady told me that 2 persons were still in front of me on the waiting list. I had to leave to go back work and couldn't see the doctor after waiting for more than 3 months for my appointment date. One of the customer next to me was waiting for her turn for more than 2 hours. Don't go there if you are on the clock!"
"As much as I'd love to write a good review, I do not have the case to support this desire. I felt that doctor did not care a lot and just made min required efforts according to the protocol. Plus all prescriptions provided were with accompanying troubles in pharmacy (either wrong, or not complete) and that also speaks about inattention in my view, which is not smth health provider might have luxury to allow. I wish it's just a one-time case with me and others still would receive proper care."
