"Enjoyed seeing "American Fiction". I also enjoyed the Godbold pizza and their chocolate shake. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and my food was brought to me in the theater not long after ordering it. There was a small crowd, so take that into consideration for your wait should you order food."

Great offerings (indie films, blockbusters, and specials events), online ticket purchasing with reserved seating, awesome food and drink options (get the pizza)… all reasonably priced too! Pro Tips: Discounted tix on Tuesdays and can pay a corkage fee if you prefer to bring your own wine."

"An old school movie theatre with good vibes, drinks & food! They also carry Count Shakula from Green Room! The best Jacksonville based stout!!! The best bang for your buck was the pizza in our opinion but overall can’t go wrong with anything! Go hungry and have dinner in the theatre. Such a cool experience."

"Even the hurricane wasn’t going to stop me for my 1st visit to the awesome Sun Ray Cinema! Gladly the theatre remained opened during the inclement weather that’s passed thru during the day. A beautiful historic building filled with movie memories. I attended “The Cramps & The Mutants” documentary screening. Not only was it cool to see some music history but was a pleasure finally getting to visit the theatre. Seating was comfortable. Interior is clean and very spacious throughout. Staff working were very courteous, friendly and professional. Special shoutout to “Rachel” for sharing her smile and sharing information regarding the theatre and future visits. It was a wonderful and fun experience and I look forward to returning to see other great screenings!"

"Great place. Been here a few times. It's nice to get a beer and a pizza and sit to enjoy a film. For me, this is better than the standard theater experience. It's not a large place, just one theater, I think, but for a nice night out, it works. Parking is typical in this area; you have to find a spot during busy times. Besides its size, the location is a classic in the riverside area. So many restaurants around to choose from. Have fun!"
